Summary:

The story of the early Worlds, a goddess who broke into three pieces to clean up the aftermath of their family’s failures.

Notes:

I feel like looking at a where’s Waldo image would make more clear sense than my tags.

Been looking forward to posting this stuff. Just. The most fucked up family.

God (Zenkaiger) - the father
God (Gokaiger) - Life
Overlord of Light - Promes/Lucifer
Overlord of Darkness - Theos/Yaldaboath
Helheim - Forestopia

The others are either As Seen In Canon or… kind of OCs. Kind of.

Life/Death/Fate belong to Silverbird22

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

Her father has a habit of abandoning his worlds when he’s done, thinks Mortena , Steward of Heavenrotopia. There’s others like her, but they’re all distant. Most quickly grow bitter.

And, okay, maybe she’s a little bitter too.

Heavenrotopia, her father explains before he leaves, is a haven for special souls. There are others. Heaventopia, Helltopia. Soultopia, the first.

Soul’s eyes are broken, the few times Mortena has spoken to her elder sibling. Devil enjoys himself too much. He doesn’t seem to know how to stop. Arch smiles thinly and says Mortena has a special purpose.

Heavenrotopia has a hell, too. It’s small. More a portal than anything. Mortena’s sister Worlds do not function as most do. No one is here, yet. The Worlds are new.

Most still go to Soul. Their eyes sink deeper and deeper. She helps them as best she can.

Eventually they sink so deep they close themself off.

She’s so lonely.

Father makes more worlds.

Soul all but faded away. Arch is overworked. Devil ignores his duties except for making things worse.

And Mortena , youngest of the Worlds above, splits apart. Heavenrotopia will be a place of those who broke boundaries. Found new forms and new hopes.

Its three stewards take on the duties of their siblings alongside their own.

They name themselves Life, Death, and Fate.

Fate returns to Soul. She can only help so much. She tries anyways.

She knows her and her sisters’ duty is coming.

The first world to tie souls to Heavenrotopia is Forestopia. Over millennia, they move fast. Forestopia becomes aware, some.

They hear its cries.

Father, where are you? It asks without words. I must find you .

It brings war. Between itself and a neighboring World. The World is called Studytopia.

It was.

Forestopia learns to consume and terraform. A war begins and many die.

The Fruit of Forestopia change. Two brave souls eat broken fruit and survive, one of each World.

The first Man and Woman of Beginning are named Saganoya and Biruchira. But there are no rules, then. They made it here together.

Forestopia consumes their souls. Biruchira sees it. Saganoya does not.

There is a battle.

Biruchira loses, despite trying. Her world was a place of nature. They never even had a word for carnivore , because the endless fruits of their home made survival easy. Saganoya’s was a place of curiosity, but from curiosity comes violence, to satisfy questions.

Saganoya’s mistake: he did not question his own power.

In his grief, he loses himself.

He merges with Forestopia and names it hell in his language. Most worlds they consume also name it such. His name is changed, Sagara, a tenuous link to the woman he loved and betrayed.

Forestopia eats at his soul until all that remains is a vessel.

Biruchira joins Life and Death and Fate on Heavenrotopia.

So too do her lost friends.

“Well, we know our personal purpose,” Death says darkly.

Heavenrotopia. Heaven Hero World.

The broken who fought anyways.

The ones who believed in good.

The ones who lost.

Over time, people trickle in from many Worlds.

And though it has just begun, all eyes train in on Herotopia.

Even the name. It’s a perfect fit.

Many gods spawn there.

Monolith.

Theos and Promes, Overlords of Darkness and Light.

Others.

Father does not stop. He should. He is killing his eldest.

Life and Death and Fate watch with baited breath. And sure enough. Dairanger. Kuuga. Kiva. The Battle Fight, Monolith’s game featuring Theos’ victorious Human and Promes’ beautiful Chalice. They change their names to Yaldaboath and Lucifer.

Life, Death, and Fate watch.

They impact what they can. As they should.

There are… few exceptions.

But they are out there.

Time marches on.

Where might it lead?
