For a plan that was planned completely at the last minute, Sonny truly enjoyed his off collab with the rest of NijiAU. He already met Luca before, so he was rather curious about meeting Ren and Maria in real life as well. It was a good thing they chose the amusement park too. The rides were pretty awesome and though he wasn't able to dodge in and was doused in water unexpectedly, Sonny still thought it would be a good memory for everyone.
The handcam stream was something Maria wanted to do at the last minute. They talked it over with staff-san, who agreed, but reminded them of everything to consider. In the end, they managed to finish the stream without much issues and even managed to hold an impromptu karaoke session for the chat.
Indeed, it was a good few days of spending time with friends. But right now, when he was finally finished packing all his stuff, there was only one thought occupying his mind.
I can't wait to go home.
More importantly, I miss Alban.
The more he thought about it, the more he missed his ototou. They spend every waking moment together (whether it be their japanese slash english lessons, to playing project zomboid, to cooking pasta at home) that for the first night, he actually fell asleep listening to Alban's soft voice while he was in bed.
Ren caught him at such a bad time because he was half asleep and he thought he was back home with Alban when he said "good morning, sunshine~"
When he was finally awake enough, he called Alban again. Alban just chuckled and gave him a virtual nade nade. Sonny had a moment wishing he wasn't here but at home with Alban… or maybe he should have just brought him along—but he couldn't (breach of contract, whatever)
He promised Alban they would go to the theme park together next time, and the other responded with a "I'll look forward to that future date~" before he had to put down the call since Ren was calling him in to help with the food.
He checked his watch and realized it was late now. Knowing Alban though, he was most definitely still awake. He couldn't help but feel goody.
I'm almost home, Alban
When he arrived though, he found Alban dozing on the counter, his cheeks pillowed in his arms, looks like he fell asleep waiting for him.
He walks over to the younger, bending down to take an immaculate sniff of Alban's scent.
Aahh, I am home.
He smiled happily, planting a kiss on top of that precious head. "Alban, you're going to hurt your posture if you sleep like that"
"Mmmnn…" the brunette showed no signs of waking up though.
Sonny chuckled. He looked so cute he had to muster his will not to kiss him right then. "Come on" he practically drops his bags and scoops up the sleeping man
Good thing he already locked the door when he came in.
"Come on, let's get you to a proper bed" he smiles at the gentle purring from Alban. He was really living up to his catboy nickname. The only thing is that he wasn't short (still shorter than Sonny, so he can call Alban small). Still, at times like this, having him in his arms felt just right
Halfway to their room tho, he could feel Alban waking up. "Nnn…Sonny?" He says softly, his voice was low and hoarse, a sure indication he did fall asleep.
"Yeah, it's me"
"Uhn…" Alban blinked, as if he was trying to wake himself up "Welcome home, Sonny…" he cuddled himself closer. Sonny was having an internal dilemma whether to actually let him fall back asleep or pounce on him right then and there.
"Tadaima~"
Yeah, Sonny Brisko enjoyed the days he spent with Maria, Luca and Ren.
But nothing beats being home.
