Warning; cages, swearing

Okay so it turns out that Vampires were real and also that they were in Florida. This would have been lovely information to know before getting kidnapped by one.

Thomas was currently (mostly) unharmed but it had a feeling that that wasn’t going to last very long giving that he could hear screaming (something that Virgil was currently freaking out about) and was locked in a (human sized) metal cage (something that Virgil was also freaking out about).

The good news was that he and Sam knew where the vamp’s lair was. The bad news was that the vampires had kidnapped another person and now they had to rescue this YouTube dude before he too winded up dead.

Well at least the case was simple and didn’t involve the end of the world.

God their lives were way too complicated.

The vampires were hiding out in a depilated old house in the woods on the edge of town. Because monsters only knew of two different types of location; warehouse and old abandoned house in the woods and at this point it was getting a bit cliché.

Dean pushed open a side door to the house, tightening his grip on his machete when it creaked like nobody had oiled in 100+ years. Which was really helpful given that they were trying to be sneaky

The noise didn’t immediately bring down a pack of vamps on their heads so he continued through the doorway. The familiar presents of Sam watching his back behind him.

As they moved through the house they only ran into a small handful of vampires, nothing that would be a challenge for them.

The lack of vampires was suspicious, this particular group was far bigger then these although not big enough that they had felt the need to call for help.

At least they only ran into lone vamps until they reached the kitchen of the building.  The kitchen was packed with the rest of the pack and Him and Sam and just burst right into the middle of bloodsucker central.

Fuck.

Once all the vamps had been cleared up, the ground now littered with decapitated bodies that they would have to clear up later.

The patry of the kitchen’s door was hanging open and out of a vague sense of curiosity and a half memory of another Vamp charging out through that door half way through the fight, Dean stuck his head around the edge of the door.

The door opened up on a set of stairs receding into darkness.

Bingo.

“Hey Sam, come see what I've found!” dean calls over his shoulder, before immediately setting off into the darkness.

There's no light switch at the top of the stairs but he finds one at the bottom and the light reveals a metal cage with a figure slumped inside who has a familiar face.

yeah IDK either
