Work Text:
Sidney carried his bride over the threshold of their honeymoon suite, then set her down; an old-fashioned gesture that had her giggling. Some of their guests were still mingling downstairs, but he gave them no mind.
“Mr. Parker,” Charlotte bit her lip in tempting fashion, “I wonder if I might presume to ask you a favor?”
“Of me?” he leaned in for a kiss, only to be denied as she pushed him away, playfully.
“Extraordinary as it might sound, I do believe you’re better positioned than anyone.” She turned around, slowly, inviting him to unzip her wedding gown.
He obliged.
