“Why is it snowing?” Brad complained as he wrapped his jacket closer to him as he wandered alongside Frost. They were walking from their hotel around the local area, “It’s October! Not even in the US would this be happening!” His complaining earned a glare from the captain. Tyler turned her head to glance at her teammate, “’Cause we’re in England and the weather’s unpredictable.” She explained to him calmly before turning back in front, “The city’s about ten more minutes.” She told the team as she wrapped her arm around Chris’ arm.
The S.T.A.R.S. unit had been involved in a big weapons bust and Irons had allowed the team to take a vacation for a week. Tyler, the Alpha team’s technical expert and first aid responder, suggested that they could go to England. Thinking that England would be like the USA, the team quickly agreed. It brought a smile to Tyler’s face since she had grown up there and hadn’t been back in a few years.
The airport journey was amusing to say the least. Barry, Marini and Wesker were acting like parents to the team. Brad, Frost and Forest were at the food court, getting their breakfast since it was an early morning flight. Chris, Jill, and Tyler were having a look in the gift shops at the airport. Kenneth, Edward and Richard were sat a table over from the older three members, having a drink in the morning.
For some of them, this was their first time flying across the world to a different country. When the team boarded the plane, it seemed like a family holiday. The chatter between the team seemed to settle their 9 hour flight. When they arrived in England, everyone except for: Wesker, Tyler, Barry and Enrico, the team were shocked about the weather change. Compared to the USA, England was cooler in the October.
What no one expected was the speckles of snow. Tyler let out a laugh at the sight of the fluff falling from the sky, “Must be lucky – it’s snowing!” She twirled around, dropping her duffle bag on accident. Chris was quick to pick it up so no one could steal it. “What do you mean lucky? It’s snowing in October!” Jill questioned, amused by her friend’s happy attitude. She never did get a response since Tyler was focused on the snow. She hadn’t seen it snow in England for a while, and it felt nice and refreshing to witness.
“Why did we agree to going to England again?” Edward commented, a bored expression on his face. A few of the others chimed up about it, hell even Enrico made a comment or two, which caused Tyler to let out a chuckle, “Not my fault your guys jumped at the thought of England. A, it’s England – the weather’s more unpredictable than Wesker. B, this isn’t London – this is Chester. We could always visit Wales whilst we’re here.”
