Work Text:
“mizuki, do you want to go on a date?”
“um, yes!
and that's how they were in this situation. with that, both mizuki and ena lay on the grass in a park, looking up at the night, starry sky. the stars formed a certain constellation, which matched their relationship exactly.
“hey, ena, look,” mizuki pointed up at the sky to a certain part of the sky. it was red, with a little bit of blue and orange. it formed a heart, a human heart it looked like. “it's a heart! it matches us.”
“woah…” ena murmured. the other person smiled at how her eyes shined. she’s so cute. “it’s…really pretty, mizuki,” ena smiled, and her face turned red. “it really matches us.”
“yup, yup!” mizuki giggled, wrapping their arm around ena to pull her closer to them. ena cuddled up beside them. “it's called the “heart nebula” and it is really pretty…” they said, turning to the other girl. “just like you.”
“that was so corny!”
“haha! maybe so, but at least it matches us.”
“eh, true.”
mizuki turned their body around so they could lie on their side. they wrapped their arms completely around ena, pulling her closer to them. ena wrapped her arms around them as well, snuggling into their chest comfortably. the pinkette kissed her head, drawing circles into her back. “this date was amazing, thank you, mizuki.”
mizuki was silent for a moment. like they were scared to answer.
“you’re welcome, i'm glad you agreed to this.”
ena giggled, pushing her body closer to mizuki.
“hey, ena, you think the stars are beautiful, right?”
“hm? oh yeah, they are.”
“well that's too bad, 'cause i don’t. i only think one star is beautiful.”
“oh? who?”
“you~”
“ugh, mizuki!! that was so corny!”
