Raquel Lore
The story is based on The Great Race: The Story of the Chinese Zodiac, but also it's an origin story of the Zodiaci, aka the Astrological signs. This part of the story takes place very long ago in a village in Greece called Paraxenos.
The Main Character
Raquel Gáta- She was the self-claimed leader of the Twelve; she was celebrating her birthday on April 30- May 1, as she was born between those days, Walpurgis Night. She was left behind during the race she started, but Kokkin tricks her into taking a "shortcut" to win the race. This causes her to be the sole survivor of her village after the massacre. She did avenge her friends after killing the Ophiuchos, who transformed into sea serpents due to the ritual, by pushing all three to one of the pikes, making it look like a kebab. They used the same spikes to kill her friends. Afterward, she used her blood on the ritual circle to make her wish that she and her friends would reincarnate to take down the ones who destroyed their home.
The Twelve Sacrifices/ Eastern Zodiac-
They were sacrificed by the Ophiuchus just so they could get sight, hearing, and a voice. With a mix of Raquel's wish and the fallen twelve's hatred, their souls got reincarnated to get revenge on the one who killed them.

Asimí Drákou- She is a kind and sensitive" girl with a lot of integrity.
Portokali Kounéli- Implied to be the youngest of them, she was known to be a smartass but looked up to Prasino, though she doesn't want to admit this to him.
Kafé Fídi- She was known as a very momope who thinks bad things happen.
Roz álogo- She was known to enjoy being miserable, as in, the stereotype emo, but did have sides of compassion.
Mávro Katsíka- He was known to have a short temper with trust issues.
Mov Maïmoú- He was usually forgotten by the others and even had trouble remembering his name, causing him to be bitter about it.
Nkri Peteinós- She was the smartest of the bunch but puts so much pressure on herself if she fails.
Ble Skýlos- He was a quiet kid who tended to others.
Váskas Choíros- He was known as most level-headed but did not like to be out of his comfort zone.
Ophiuchos
Three orphaned children betrayed their hometown to be like everyone else in removing their disabled but became sea serpents for their crimes. They sacrificed their friends to get what they wanted but only to lose what they had.
Tyflós Ourómporos- Eldest of the triplets born blind. He was their leader and the smartest of the kids. He resents being blind and wants to see his siblings.
Vouvós Ourómporos- Middle Child born mute. The only girl of them is the one who gave Tyflos the idea to sacrifice the twelve kids. She wants a voice so she can speak to her brothers.
Koufós Ourómporos- The youngest child born deaf. He usually follows his siblings into their plans without thinking for himself. He acts the most innocent of them but is just as much of a snake in the grass as them. He wants to hear his sibling's voices
The Twelve Disciples/ Western Zodiac
Are a group that follows the hooded man who calls himself Mystikós. Their bloodshed was similar to the Sabbath parties from Devilman, but this caused the disciples, Mystikos, and the Ophiuchus to turn into monsters.
Beniamín/Mystikós - The one who offers the Opiuchos to be like everyone else, saying that uld cure them of their disabilities. He and his disciples slaughter the townsfolk during the Opiuchos to perform the ritual.
The followers' names were Krios, Tavros, Didimoi, Karkinos, Leon, Parthenos, Zygos, Skorpios, Toksotis, Aigokeros, Ydrohoos, and Ihtheis.
The Ritual
It was used in the story to use human sacrifices and put them on pikes around the center of Paraxenos, and the circle made of teenagers' blood around the pikes. This was just so Mystikothatis's disciples would become immortal; their bodies changed into horrifying creatures, the disciples embodied the horoscopes, and their leader transformed into a shadow. The ritual was incomplete despite having all twelve Ophuchos turned into sea monsters for not completing it. Raquel was also transformed into a turquoise girl with rainbow hair, missing a finger and a nose, along with her body deformed into something bizarre.
