Excerpt from the first chapter: Enraptured by Will, Mike examines all the little features in his face. The curve of his nose, the thickness of his eyebrows, his eyes, everything. Everything about Will is so fascinating to Mike.
Usually, Mike's head is so scrambled by everything, him mom, his mom, schoolwork, chores, DnD, random stuff he forgot to do, but now? All his thoughts are focused on Will's appearance. He looks, wonderful. Gorgeous, you could say. Mike's reminded of what El said in her letters all those months ago, before they broke up, before they defeated Vecna and could finally lead a normal teenage life. Well, as normal as they could with severe amounts of trauma.
