“Michelle,” Peter starts, licking the blood off his cracked lips as he pauses. “MJ. You were right. About everything. I did lie - I shouldn’t have but I did.” His breath leaves him in rough pants and his spine goes rigid as he hears the moist, suction-like sound of them moving in the hall. They’re getting closer by the second - he doesn’t have much time left.
“If you get this…,” he clenches his fists so tight his ragged nails nearly pierce through his Spidey suit into his palms and tries not to flinch when the steel door behind him buckles and strains.
