I Will Never Leave You

Summary:

Robin and Vickie are hanging out more than Nancy would've wanted, and she began to doubt whether Robin really loves her.

Notes:

So here Nancy knows that Robin is lesbian, and she's totally chill with it

Work Text:

Robin Buckley looked at her girlfriend, who was sound asleep next to her. Despite herself, Robin chuckled at the circumstances that brought them to their current situation.

Time Rewind, a few days ago...

Robin and Nancy were on a lunch date when suddenly a pair of arms wrapped around her neck from behind. Vickie. Robin dared to look at Nancy, who became rigid, body taut with tension. If looks could kill, Robin's bandmate would've been bleeding on the floor and dead twice over.

"Robin! How are you? I missed you. Why weren't you at practice yesterday?"

Robin politely removed Vickie's arms around her. "I'll be there later, OK?"

"You better be." Then, to Robin's horror, Vickie planted a kiss on her cheek. Nancy literally growled, her knuckles white under the table. Robin mouthed a sorry and turned back to Vickie.

"It's a long way back to the school." Robin told her bandmate casually.

"What she meant is, you need to leave." Nancy said coldly, teeth gritted. Vickie, wisely, obeyed. Robin looked at Nancy questioningly.

"There's something off about her." Nancy merely said. They were silent for the rest of the meal.

Time Jump, Nancy's bedroom...

She can't pinpoint it, but there's something about Vickie that sets Nancy off. That, and her closeness to the girl, makes her nauseous. She kept telling herself that the two were close because of their involvement in the school band, but still Nancy feel sick. It must be because they've grown so close in such a short amount of time (trying to find a way to defeat a psychotic telekinetic would do that, Nancy supposed). Sighing, Nancy changed into a blue camisole with matching sleep shorts before settling down under the sheets.
