Chapter 1: Hisa Midoriya

Chapter Text

“Nedzu.”

The stoat stared at the human. No, this guy was too powerful for that, God? No, he was too perplexed about human life for that; whatever this person had said, the name amused. The gifted stoat was perplexed by the name; what was this person?

"Nedzu? What is that?" the stoat was confused; the person chuckled, "That's your name; you asked me to name you two years ago. Nedzu or Nezu is your name now." The stoat, now named Nedzu, stared at the person with an exhausted look. The person gave a belly laugh at stoat's exaggerated face. Nedzu smiled at that; this person was different from other people, he laughed easy and cared for anyone close to him, and Nedzu was glad he was one of them, and he was only confused about why it took the man so long-

"Wait, what is your name, sir?" Nedzu wouldn't ever be respectful to anyone other than this man he knew, but he didn't even know the name of the person he respected; the person looked at Nedzu with a gleam in his eyes before sighing softly, "I Have many names, " the man started but smiled sadly, that wasn't good the man was always smiling happily, "Father, Dad, Magician, Creator, etcetera; but I have no real name, no one was there to name me, I was just there, never given existence but was existing, who I am is not confusing in the slightest but my name a different problem entirely."

Nedzu looked at the man before speaking, "Hisa!" The man looked at Nedzu with a smile, "Hisa... Ok, I'm Hisa Midoriya!" the man got up and stretched out; with a slight frown, he looked at the city below them. They both were sitting on a tall building of U.A High School; Nedzu made the school after being an experiment, he didn't want people to be subjected to what he went through, and for that to happen, more heroes needed to produce, so he made a hero school.

"Nedzu, I know you hate humans but give them a chance, " Nedzu's snapped his attention towards Hisa; Nedzu did not like the change in topic was not appreciated.

"Why should I?" Nedzu suppressed the growl that nearly came out of his mouth because Hisa doesn't just say these things without reason, "You want to help people like you, but hating them will not do you any good. How will you appropriately gauge someone if you only look at their power and not the person? Being prejudiced towards everyone will only hinder your work, " Hisa spoke gently towards Nedzu; he was trying to preoccupy Nedzu from his more bitter thoughts by attacking the problem head-on; if he gets the problem out now he'll learn to get a handle on it later, and this method will only really work on so many people.

"Mmm..." Nedzu hummed in mild irritation, and he hated it when Hisa was being logical.

"Besides, we require an individual like you who sees the world for what it is, a piece of shit ready to hit the fan any year now." when Hisa said that, Nedzu relaxed; Hisa was worried about his mental health and the needs of the environment, he wasn't trying to get under his skin for no reason.

"The world is kinda fucked, huh, " Nedzu couldn't help but agree; Hisa chuckled lightly before sighing, "That's why we have people like you around, Nedzu."

"People like me...." Nedzu thought with amusement before it stuck him, "There is someone like me right next to me who sees the world as it is! I hope he agrees."

"Why don't you become a teacher at my school? People have so much to learn, and you would be the perfect person to learn from!" Nedzu blurted out, excited about the idea that he had.

Hisa Midoriya looked at Nedzu with raised eyebrows, and he didn't see the point in denying the stoat's idea; Hisa could pass down his knowledge and hope someone could keep his legacy. He knows who will keep it in the future, but he needs one for now, and he wasn't about to pass up this chance for just that.

"Ok, " Hisa agreed easily

**A Few Years Later**

"Hello, class 1-A. My Name is Hisa Midoriya! You can call me Hisa or Midoriya-sensei; I will be your homeroom teacher in heroics. Nice to meet you all!" Hisa announced cheerfully as he stared out at the twenty students.

Some outright groaned at the man with a happy facial expression; Hisa chuckled at that because the one to complain was a boy with medium curly black hair and tired black eyes.

He smiled and nodded at the irritated students; he was excited to teach these children to be pro heroes, he had prepared two particular students at U.A nine years ago, and they are both the number one and two heroes currently. So he had high hopes for their success; he was not expecting the next All Might or Endeavor, just good heroes.

Life chose the boy with the curly black hair to remember.

As Hisa watched his class for a few seconds, starting at each student with prolonged eye contact to get them to look away, he began his training of pride vs. confidence; those with a pride tend to stare at you longer than the ones with confidence, they have an excessively high opinion of oneself or one's importance believe they're better than anyone else so the person with arrogance will meet your eyes until you squish them, those with confidence are different, the person of spirit look you in the eye not because the individual is confident of beating you but because they are feeling of self-assurance arising from an appreciation of one's abilities or qualities and know you will lead them in the right direction.

As Hisa looked at every one of the teenagers he added to his list, the boy with curly black hair was neither confident nor proud, but He had a troubled and restless look in his eyes, but also he had a sense of despair and doubt. The emotion the sorcerer felt was deep; despite being so young, he showed the signs of what had aged many years. The sorcerer nodded upon claiming his target and flickered with a slight confident smile upon his stubble. In those young teens' eyes, the sorcerer could see a direct glare of himself.

The boy with blue cloud-like hair looked him in the eyes with a demanding look of determination and defiance. A fire burned inside the young teen as he gazed into the sorcerer's emerald eyes. He didn't like this, he didn't like what he saw, but he tried to help as much as possible.

Another boy but with blond hair and greenish-yellow eyes, his stare was also different from everyone else. The emotion the sorcerer felt was faith. The blond seems to have confidence in him to get the job done and teach with neither pride nor prejudice. Magic can make miracles happen as well as mistakes. The sorcerer did not want to make mistakes.

And last but not least, a young teen girl with dark purple hair and sky blue eyes has confidence in herself, but there was something else, a warning that a part of the sorcerer felt in himself too. She might like him but also hate him, who knows, but one thing is for sure, this girl who he had never met before, he cares a great deal for her.

“Analysis Complete.”

Every student looked confused by Hisa's words; Hisa chuckled. He'd be surprised if they knew what he was thinking.

“You all might know my name, but I refuse to know yours; you can only tell me your name when trust connects us, so instead, everyone will have an alias, and no, not your hero name.”

Everyone looked around at each other confused, but the boy with blue cloud-like hair smiled widely.

“ As in, like a codename or agent name?”

His eyes were gleaming; Hisa smiled widely, “yes, like codename or agent name, so who will start?”

“Call me Sky!” cloud boy declared

“Call me Transmission!” the blond boy yelled

“Call me Slumber!” the purple-haired girl called out next.

Hisa smiled as every student seemed excited now that those three had started it.

As the students all smiled, happy with their code names Hisa smiled back at them, eyes roaming before they landed on curly black hair, he had yet to come up with a name.

“Well then, future hero, we are almost done. What about you? What do you want to be called?” Hisa asked, eyes trained on the boy with curly black hair.

The boy curled in on himself; Hisa smiled softly, walking to the boy’s side and squatting to seem more minor, “would you like me to give you a code name instead?” Hisa questioned softly; the boy nodded, seeming uncomfortable with his proximity, backing up and standing. He thought for a minute.

“You give off a grumpy back cat. The class may call you panther.” Hisa smiled before ruffling the boy's hair and returning to the front of the room, missing the surprised looks on the noirette's face.

“You may tell anyone your name as long as it's not me, and make sure you let anyone outside your classroom know not to tell me; Nedzu already knew the situation of this and has only sent your quirk information; I know nothing but your quirks. I refuse to have my perspective lied by knowing anything about you, and you should be aware.” The room dissolved into silent confusion at the statement.

“Meaning, I can only judge your quirk or what I hear or see from you if you were a troublemaker, treated wrong, or anything in between. I have no clue about your past, and I will only worry about your present, your future, and pulling you out of your past. All of you students are now my experiment for a better future, and you will look at your present as a better past.”

Some of the students sat straighter and paid more attention to Hisa at his announcements; for some reason, they knew that this was a teacher they would respect and admire for years to come.

The bell ringing made them snap out of their trance.

“I will see you all tomorrow, and I hope I can change your future.” Hisa smiled before sitting at his desk to look over his pupils' quirks and how they are used and adding to them.

Name: N/A
Birthday: November 8
Age:15
Gender: male
Height:5’6”
B/Type: B
Quirk: Eraser

The boy’s quirk allows him to nullify another person's Quirk by looking at the user. The effects of this Quirk can still last even if the user's line of vision is out of range.

• Erasure deactivates if he blinks.

• His Quirk gives him an evil dry eye, forcing him to blink more often when he uses the power continuously.

• Most Mutant-type Quirks are immune to Erasure, given that these Quirks are often passively active in a way that can't be negated.

• Erasure has zero effect on any strength or abilities that don't originate from Quirks.

• Erasure makes Shota's hair stand on end while it is active, allowing his enemies to see when his Quirk is active or not.

• This Quirk has no offensive potential.

“They're perfect for what I want to do!”

**Two months later**

Hisa, like always, was sitting on the roof of UA Academy building; he had been watching students go about their day without a care in the world. He was waiting for someone. He had heard rumors that a boy was using his quirk to take others' quirks; Hisa, who has shown interest in this, has decided to watch his future companion. He could not figure out why the other students felt this way.

They felt superior, not because they could act scared of what would happen to them and get their future companion in trouble; therefore, the chances of his future companions using his quirk were very low, as most people are afraid of unnecessary risk. If Hisa were correct, his future companion would not use his Quirk anytime soon.

However, he had discovered from his first interaction with a student that his future companion was a rather interesting character.

His future companion had been hiding his whole body under his hoodie and scarf, which were pulled over his head. It was difficult to notice the boy because his scarf covered half of his face and shadowed both sides of his hoodie, but his shoulders gave away the fact that this boy was skinny. From a distance, he seemed to walk with a bit of a limp on his left leg as if he had been limping since his birth, probably from the constant strain of running away from other teens that chase after him with no regard for his injuries or the pain that he suffered as he ran.

Hisa grinned as he teleported by a wall, and watched his future companion run past him and turned the corner, Hisa watched as several boys walked by and turn the corner where his future companion had ran to, Hisa gave a slight chuckle of amusement.

The black-haired teen was a particular pupil that appeared to be a loner, one who liked to work alone. His classmates had called him weird; Hisa didn't like it, but he admired the kid for being able to hide his emotions and avoid confrontation by remaining unnoticed.

So He was pretty surprised when a group of students surrounded the boy. The students looked angry. They grabbed his clothes and forced him against the wall of the school building.

Hisa watched in silence, curious to see where this story was going.

“We're gonna beat you up till you learn who you are, villain, and why you need to stay gone, or else we'll make you regret ever entering U.A. .” the leader yelled.

Hisa smiled tightly; he did not this at all; He wanted to expell the ‘commander’ for quirk discrimination, but refrained himself when the boy with black eyes spotted him and started pleading with his eyes.

He didn't want to lose the kids trust.

“I'd think the kid would take pleasure in a fair fight, because I'm sure he wouldn't mind if I joined his team.” He commented indifferently, causing the group to turn towards the voice.

Their faces fell when they saw the smiling man in front of them; his green eyes narrowed dangerously, and for a second, the the black haired teenager wondered why it had to be his homeroom yeacger. But he couldn't dwell on that, he needed to get out of this situation without getting expelled because his teacher appeared to be a quirkist since the beginning of school.

“So, I'm listening. Who are you boys? And you, why do you want to hurt the kid?” Hisa challenged, his gaze locked onto the black haired boy.

“You mean this kid?! You've got balls to talk to us like that you mutt! We were just trying to teach him a lesson!” One boy spat, pointing a finger angrily at the young man.

Hisa smirked at that, “oh? Then maybe you five should try again next week because the only thing I can see happening is me stopping you,” Hisa chuckled coldly, “then again, it is my job to stop this sort of nonsense,” he added in a mock whisper, sending shivers down the spine of the boy's, “and besides I have plans for today so that I won't be joining you to the principal's office,” he stated in apparent dismissal.

The leader of the boys scoff angrily before turning around to leave; The rest quickly following behind him, “don't even think about coming near us again freak. If I see you again, your dead!” Their anger and fear was evident in their voices and eyes, and it showed.

“I will, however, can do something worse. Don't test me,” The teacher warned before gripping the skinny teens shoulder before they both disappear in a cloud of smoke.

Both Hisa and teen appeared in the homeroom classroom. The latter was notably trembling, and Hisa noticed with concern that the boy was shaking.

“Hey, you alright?” Hisa asked.

The boy nodded silently.

“Alright then, you can sit and wait for class to start?” The teacher said cheerily. The teen awkwardly shuffled to his seat, number 18.

He didn't get in trouble?
