“I thought women on the ship are bad luck,” Louis mumbled, more to herself than to anyone specifically.
“Aye!”
Louis’ head snapped around. Next to the helm on the poop deck stood a woman. The most breath-taking woman Louis had ever seen. She looked exactly like Louis had imagined a pirate would.
“Except if they’re naked.” The captain walked down the stairs slowly, each of her steps echoing in Louis’ ears. “Naked women put the sea at ease, you know.”
“You’re awfully young to be a captain.” She was hardly older than Louis herself. But there was something about her, the way she carried herself, that didn’t make Louis doubt her capability.
Again, the captain seemed amused. “Why, thank you, Louise.”
“Louis!” she corrected the captain before being able to think better of it.
The captain’s lips quirked up. “Nice to meet you, Louis.” She bowed her head in a mock curtsey. “I’m Captain Harry Styles. Welcome aboard The Black Cat.”Just days before her wedding day, Louis is kidnapped by a bunch of female pirates. All of this is already pretty unusal, but the most unusual is definitely Captain Harry Styles who only has one goal in life: being remembered.
