    John Marston is turned as he lies bleeding out on the streets, alone and afraid. He learns how to survive by himself until fate throws someone into his path that will change the course of his sorry life even more so than becoming a vampire.

    This was gonna be a prequel to Red Undead but then vampire John burrowed his way into my brain and refused to leave until he was put on paper. So now this is just a prequel to the game from around 1879-1889 (the ten to twenty years before the events in Colter just before the game starts). I've played a little with the canon timeline to bring in characters when I wanted, and also John is about 5yrs older than he should be.

    It's Halloween soon and I love horror films, so each chapter is named after a horror film, just because.
