Chapter Text
Waking up next to someone was something a young Jennifer Walters could only dream about. Now, here she was, laying beside one hunk of a man. There was Matthew Murdock, who was curled up in Jennifer’s childhood bed. The young Jennifer could never dream of a man like him.
The day before, Jennifer had brought Matt to her family barbecue, not knowing how off guard Matt was the entire time. Eventually everyone settled and the two could spend some time alone.
Things got better from there.
As the morning sun shine through the curtains, Jennifer Walters began to stir. She groaned, not wanting to get up. However, as her mind began to clear, she noticed someone else was beside her. Turning her body, she realized Matt was still there. All Jennifer could do was sigh, scooting closer to try and get as close as possible. Eventually, she could feel Matt stir.
“Hey there.” Matt said, his body curling into Jennifer’s as they got closer. He could feel Jennifer laying herself on top of him, and he could only chuckle in response.
“…Matt…” Jennifer whined softly, her cheek resting against Matt’s chest. She shuffled closer, arm wrapping around his waist. “I don’t want you to go..”
“It that so?” Matt asked, his right hand now connecting with Jennifer’s hair. He gently ran his finger along her curls, smiling as he could feel Jennifer relax against him. “You wanna me to stay?”
“Please…” Jennifer mumbled, letting out a sigh. “...stay forever.."
Matt laughed gently, still moving his fingers along Jennifer’s curls. He then removed his hand and managed to find her chin with his hand, tilting it up towards him. He assumed she was looking at him.
“How long should I stay?” He asked gently, feeling Jen shift in silence as she huffed.
“I get it though…you need to head back New York. I’m being selfish.” Jennifer mumbled suddenly, looking into his eyes. She realized he couldn’t see her, but she couldn’t help but stare.
“Now, I didn’t say that.” Matt told her, hand now resting on the back of her head. “Jen, this isn’t just a one night thing, I really like you.”
“That’s a first.” Jen confessed with a huff, letting out another sigh.
“Hey, I mean it, you’re wonderful.” Matt soothed gently, smiling as Jennifer scooted closer to where the top of her head could comfortably rest close to Matt’s face. Her cheek was still resting on his chest, but the top of her head was gently holding Matt’s head. “You’re amazing Jen, inside and out. It doesn’t matter if you’re Jen or She-Hulk, I like you for who you are.”
In response, Jennifer shuddered and pressed her face into the crook of Matt’s neck. The man ran his fingers along Jennifer’s back, trying to calm her.
“I mean it Jen, you’re so special.” Matt whispered, adjusting his head to kiss the side of Jennifer’s face gently. With each kiss, Jennifer’s heartbeat slowly decreased its speed as she relaxed. Matt couldn’t help but listen to her heartbeat, his mind racing to find more wants to comfort Jennifer.
“I like you, whether you like it or not.” The man told her, his body relaxing as Jen finally remained calm. So, the two sat in silence as Matt ran his fingers along Jennifer’s spine, admiring her body in every way he could. God, she was something. Matt kept moving his hands along Jennifer's body, feeling her jolt with each touch of his fingertips. He moved closer towards her hips, the biggest jolt from Jennifer coming from his hands going over her hip bone and around her waist.
"Oh I'm sorry, bothered?" Matt teased gently, a smirk forming on his face while he continued to feel her hips. "Who would have know, Jennifer Walters might be all hot and bothered?"
"If you're trying to start something, you better finish it." Jennifer demanded playfully, reading her head up to nip his ear. Matt let out a slight shudder, his fingertips still dancing around her waist. He slowly moved down from her hips and reached her ass, giving it a gentle squeeze. Jennifer let out a squeak, which in response made Matt laugh.
"Matthew!" Jennifer cried out as her face flushed slightly, picking up her head to look at the man. His hand was still there and he refused to move. "Such a daring move!"
"Objection your honor." Matt replied, his smirk still plastered on his face. "I have yet to bring out the most impressive thing I can do."
Without warning, Matt Murdock had pulled Jennifer off his body and planted the woman on her back. The lawyer had towered himself over her, faces inches apart as he hovered right over Jennifer. Clearly, Matt had won. Jennifer Walters was now pinned and she wouldn't dare object to this treatment she was receiving.
"Anything else to add?" Matt asked, his body pressing up against Jen's as he pressed himself closer. He had leaned in towards her face, gently nipping her earlobe before planting hot kisses along her jaw.
All Jennifer could do was push the reader aside, because she decided that enough was enough today. Besides, the next chapter would be more fluff! She supposed that would do.
