Summary
There’s a few words for hobbits like Bilbo. Overcurious is by far the most common. His mother and father use it endearingly, but it is just as capable as an insult with the right tone of voice. Wight is another, meaning something like unfortunate though it has multiple definitions. Bilbo has spectacularly terrible luck and a lack of coordination to match - he can’t count how many times he’s tripped on air, bumped his shoulder on nothing, been followed about by a raven.
