“Impulse!” Zedaph calls as he slides to a stop on one of the rings of his base, “I, have a question.”
The electric eel pokes his head above the water, “What is it?”
“You can electrocute people right.”
“Yeahhh.” He flicks his tail up. “Whyyy.”
“Can you kill someone with your charge.”
Impulse opens his mouth then pauses, ducking back under water for a moment, “I mean probably.”
Plonking down a chest Zed dumps all his gear inside and places a bed.
“Oh no.”
“Oh yes,” Zedaph laughs, as he jumps into the water, “Zap me… For Science!”
“Zed, this is a bad idea.” Impulse warns.
“Respawn’s a thing, I'll be fine.”
Shrugging Impulse agrees and wraps his tail around Zedaph. Drawing him close to his body. “Ready?”
“Ready.” Zedaph nods.
Impulse nods and shocks him.

Zedaph appears on the bed and after a moment jumps up, ”Told you it would work”
Impulse rolls his eyes, “never said it wouldn’t work just said it was a bad idea.”
“Would you like to do an experiment?”
“With what?” Impulse asks slowly, not trusting what Zed’s plan is.
Zed just grins.

They’ve made it to their new world and Zedaph’s dragged Impulse and Tango into his lab.
“So,” Tango grins, “What’s this about?”
“This my friend is about science, and if Impulse here counts as lightning.”
“Is this what you were talking about after I electrocuted you last season?”
“Yes it is.”
“Alright,” Impulse shakes his head, “What do you have for me?”
“If you’ll follow me over to my testing chamber.”
Once Impulse is standing in the waist deep water and Zedaph and Tango are watching from the other side of the glass Zedaph explains the experiment.
“Impulse can you shift down into merform?”
Nodding Impulse takes a deep breath and dunks his head under the water. Then he shifts. Nails sharpen into claws, teeth into points, legs stretching and fusing into a long tail.
“Thank you. Now could you please electrocute the pig.”
Impulse Rolls his eyes and nods, brushing his tail against the pig.
The pig jolts and with a flash is replaced by a tall zombie pig man.
Impulse smacks it with his tail and it poofs into code.
“How was that?”
Zedaph gasps, “That was awesome, let’s see if you can do a villager.”
Tango coughs into his fist. Zed ignores him.
“Turn a villager into a witch. Alright. Let’s try it.”
Pulling a lever Zed causes a Villager to fall from the ceiling into the makeshift pool.
Impulse zaps it and
It dies.
“Oh.” Zedaph murmurs, “Let’s try it again.”
And they do. About five times before going back to the pig.
It doesn’t work again.
“Server must have thought you were a lightning bolt…” Zedaph shrugs. After a moment he grins, “Want to try a creeper?”
“I'm not getting blown up.”
