    This was going way better than he had anticipated; of course he knew Washington was interested in John–because who wouldn’t be, he was gorgeous and well-built and just enough of a challenge to make it fun–but his concern had lain with John himself. His disapproval of Alexander’s relationship with their commander had made him doubtful of his willingness to participate in said relationship, but he had worried for naught.

    John loved Alexander, but he also loved the safety a guiding hand of an imposing older man provided.
