First times

Summary:

“You came! What are you, dudes?” Sero grinned widely at them.

“Boyfriends,” Katsuki answered, deadpan.

“What? I mean your costumes! What are you?”

Izuku and Sero tried not to laugh too hard while Katsuki barked how people should form their questions better.

Work Text:

“You look so cute, Kacchan!” Izuku complimented his boyfriend’s costume, a onesie he had lent him.

“I’m not cute,” Katsuki huffed silently as if being cute was something he wished not to be. But Izuku knew his boyfriend had a soft side too, he just didn’t want to show it in front of their classmates.

The dark common room was filled with Halloween decorations and eerie music. Jirou and Tokoyami were making weird noises with guitars. Hagakure, Aoyama and Kaminari were creating some lighting decorations every now and then.

“Do you want to leave the party and go to my room? We can take some food there,” warm green eyes looked into red ones. Izuku was wondering if Katsuki was having some anxiety issues at the moment and didn’t want him to feel uncomfortable.

“Nah, it’s okay, we can stay a while,” he gazed around the common room searching for the snacks. “Come on,” Katsuki gently took Izuku’s hand, “let’s eat.”

Izuku felt a jolt inside him as their hands touched. They had never held hands before. They had only hugged each other a few times, nothing more. Izuku really wanted to cuddle with his boyfriend but didn’t want to rush things. Katsuki didn’t seem to notice he had done anything special just now, not until the shorter one pointed it out.

“Warm.”

“What?”

“Your hand. Warm,” Izuku smiled as he browsed all the treats on the big table.

Katsuki froze. His initial impulse was to pull his hand away but stopped himself just in time to think how that would make his boyfriend feel. He didn’t want to hurt him ever again.

“Yea- yes. I have heat packs in my pockets,” he looked at the table but didn’t really see what was on it. He didn’t know what to say or do. Izuku was collecting food on his plate, muttering how everything looked so good.

“Hey. Hear what I said?” Katsuki finally managed to look at Izuku.

“Oh! Yeah,” Izuku smiled at Katsuki, “I know you do, you’ve told me. What do you wanna eat?”

“You pick,” the blonde barely managed to hide his smile.

The room echoed with laughter and chit chat, most people sitting on chairs or on the floor. Some were dancing or running around the room. The couple wondered where they’d fit when a voice startled them.

“You came! What are you, dudes?” Sero grinned widely at them.

“Boyfriends,” Katsuki answered, deadpan.

“What? I mean your costumes! What are you?”

Izuku and Sero tried not to laugh too hard while Katsuki barked how people should form their questions better.

“I’m a competitor from the Squish Game! Number 456!” Izuku beamed and did a little twirl, finally letting go of Katsuki’s hand. “The series was amazing!”

“Oh, no wonder I didn’t recognize your fit, I haven’t seen the show. So what are you, Bakugou?”

“Seriously? You don’t know?” Katsuki crooked his eyebrow and continued to Izuku, “I thought this was a popular movie?”

“It is! You haven’t seen it, Sero?”

“Haha, I guess I don’t watch TV as much as the others then,” Sero laughed.

“It’s a big fluffy creature called Tatoro, the movie was one of my favourites as a child, I loved it so much, it always kept me company when—”

“Alright, Deku,” Katsuki tried to keep his composure, his insides suddenly felt so warm and loved. The warmth eventually reached the surface when Izuku just kept on describing the movie; his ears started to blush and he had to take his hands out of his hot pockets. “Izuku.”

The sound of his birth name on his boyfriend’s lips was something Izuku was not yet completely used to hearing. He loved it even though it was surprising sometimes. He knew Katsuki was starting to feel uncomfortable so he stopped his babbling and this time was the one who took his hand.

“Uh, we’re gonna go there and eat,” Izuku told Sero, taking Katsuki with him. They found a dark corner with bean bag chairs that invited them to slump in them.

“I didn’t know the movie was that important to you.”

“Oh, well… Yeah, you know. As a kid you like something and that can be a huge comfort. Like a haven or something like that… Hey! Let’s try all of these cool creepy snacks already, Kacchan!” Izuku found himself getting sidetracked.

The music’s volume was being turned down as they were munching their treats on the huge bean bags. Ashido was standing on the table, clearing her throat.

“Hey party people, are you having a good time?!” She waited for the class to cheer and clap before continuing, “We’re gonna play some games soon so if you wanna participate, gather here, please!” Her pink hair bounced as she jumped off the table.

“Ugh, why there’s always some games. This is why I don’t care for parties,” Katsuki grunted to himself.

“We don’t have to participate. Do you want to leave?”

“No. I don’t want to be the reason…”

“What?” Izuku looked concerned, though he probably knew what he meant.

“I don’t want to ruin the party for you,” Katsuki looked down onto his stomach. His hands had found their way into the warm pockets of Izuku’s Tatoro onesie.

He didn’t look for any pity, just honestly told what he was thinking. Izuku knew that very well.

“I know you don’t want to. And you’re not. This is our first party together and you have already made this the best party ever by agreeing to my silly wish for you to wear my onesie.”

Katsuki looked up at his boyfriend who really seemed to have the time of his life. “Fine, nerd,” he replied, smiling. “I’m thirsty, you want anything?”

“Surprise me!”

There was a whole table for drinks only, big bowls full of odd coloured liquids, lots of cups and different kinds of ice. “Don’t tell me Icy-Hot made this ice!” Katsuki asked the people around the table while pouring drinks.

“Of course he did. It's a much quicker way than to freeze all the water,” Asui croaked nearby, “Bakugou, you’re looking very cute today!”

“Is it even sanitary?” Katsuki glared at the ice, ignoring the compliment.

“Lots of people have eaten it before tonight and everyone is fine,” Todoroki had heard the ice conversation. Katsuki glanced at him suspiciously and decided not to take the risk.

Izuku was talking with Iida when he arrived with the drinks. Katsuki handed the green drink to Izuku, then sat back on his bag, slurping the tangy orange beverage. If there was something good at the party, it was the dark room so you could easily keep to yourself, also his costume didn’t seem to get as much attention as he thought. Plus it was super warm and smelled like Izuku. He could just curl up in the cozy bean bag and enjoy the food.

“Bakugou, Midoriya was just telling me about your costumes. They look good on you,” the class president raised his voice a little.

“Deku looks good in anything,” Katsuki said, mouth full of apple pie.

“Kacchan!” Izuku blushed and covered his face.

“Well it’s true.”

“Yes, indeed. Especially in green, it goes really well with your hair, Midoriya!”

Katsuki looked at Iida who praised Izuku who in turn was waving the compliments away, although smiling politely. Sometimes he couldn’t believe he got to date that popular dork everyone loved. He pulled the hood on his head because suddenly felt like it.

“Phew,” Izuku sighed when landing on the chair next to the blonde. Katsuki was munching his treats quietly. “Oh wow! Kacchan, that hood…” he tried to think of some other word than cute. “You’re so cuddle worthy!” Izuku hoped he wasn’t being too forward.

“Okay, settle down,” Katsuki smirked. He also wanted to cuddle with Izuku, just didn’t know how to get into that kind of situation. They could half-joke about these topics, easily, but when it came down to being serious and intimate; that was a new challenge for both of them. Izuku reached for his hand and he gladly took it.

“Whatcha wanna do? We can chill here, go take a break outside, check out what people are doing, or just leave. Anything goes!” Izuku’s eyes sparkled like tiny stars.

“What do you want?” Katsuki couldn’t tear his eyes off of Izuku’s bright green ones. “You know you don’t need to be with me all evening.”

“I know that, Kacchan. I just like being… close to you,” Izuku lowered his gaze to their united hands. Katsuki looked at Izuku, wondering if he had heard him right.

“Are you okay?”

“What do you mean?” Izuku wondered.

“Well, you’re so… talkative.”

“I always am!”

“No! I mean that what you just said.”

“Oh… Eh, right. Um… I talked to Uraraka earlier today and she had some tips for… Ah! Forget it!”

“Oh…” Katsuki turned to his plate as if asking it for some advice. “Hold on! I thought you didn’t want to touch my— I mean me— I sweat so much sometimes!”

“What are you talking about, Kacchan?”

“Argh! Sorry. I totally just assumed stuff again… So you do want to touch me… more?”

“Of course! I’ve always—” Izuku’s sentence was cut midway when he was being pulled up from the chair. “Whoah! Kacchan!”

“Wanna ditch the party for a while?” Katsuki lowered his voice gazing down into his shorter boyfriend’s emerald eyes. Izuku opened his mouth but nothing came out so he just nodded enthusiastically. “Can I carry you?” Katsuki continued with a blush on his face.

“I’d like that a lot, Kacchan.” This time Izuku was able to form words, quiet yet firm.

“Hop on then,” Katsuki turned his back to Izuku, implying for him to climb on. Izuku blushed and smiled so hard he had to bury his face on his boyfriend’s shoulder as he carried him away from the party. They heard a few suggestive oohs to which Katsuki just yelled “shut up!”.

Kacchan is carrying me, I can’t believe this.

His breath feels warm. He weighs more than I thought. I hope I don’t screw this up.

“Here we are,” Katsuki said while Izuku hopped off. They both avoided each others eyes.

“Yup.” Izuku searched for his key, a little nervous. He couldn’t wait to get to cuddle with Katsuki. “Oh shoot, we didn’t take any treats with us!”

“I got pockets full of them. Open the door already… Izuku,” the blonde turned to face his boyfriend as he took his hood off. He felt antsy and happy to see how much Izuku too seemed to wait for what was about to happen. They smiled shyly at each other before getting in.

The minute Izuku had closed the door Katsuki had already sat on his bed. He had sat on Izuku’s bed earlier but now it was different because he was supposed to sit there too. “Well?” Katsuki asked, summoning up his courage. Izuku sat next to him, leaving just enough space so they didn’t touch each other, yet.

While carrying Izuku Katsuki had thought about what he was going to say and do but now every rational thought seemed to have escaped his brain. Izuku was also surprisingly quiet for a minute or two and they just sat there staring into space. When it came so quiet you could hear their heartbeats, Izuku started babbling and rambling on about things that didn’t seem to be appropriate for the situation.

“What are you talking about, nerd?” Katsuki snapped out of his tense demeanor and immediately felt relaxed and cozy at the sound of his boyfriend’s talk.

“Sorry, I’m just nervous. I want to hug you so bad I don’t know what to do. Does that make sense?” Izuku giggled.

“Yeah, kinda. I get it,” Katsuki smiled at him, putting his hand on the bed between them, trying to close the gap a bit. Izuku’s stomach felt warm and fuzzy with anticipation.

“Do you want to lie down?” Katsuki asked and audibly gulped.

“Yeah,” Izuku turned to face him, looking serious. They hopped and crawled to find a good spot on the bed, both lying on their backs. Izuku internally screamed from joy.

He’s really lying next to me. I can’t believe this. It’s Deku. It’s Izuku. Katsuki’s brain started to short circuit but managed to bring his thoughts back to the present. He started opening the onesie’s zipper. Izuku’s eyes blew wide open from the sound. “Ka…cchan…?”

“Come here,” Katsuki got up on his elbow, indicating Izuku to curl up in the onesie with him. “If you want to…” he continued, feeling his heart beat like they were in the middle of a sparring session.

“Oh. Yes,” Izuku sighed with the brightest smile, turning not-so-calmly so they were spooning. He tried to find a good spot, wiggling his back against the big spoon.

Oh no. That’s when Katsuki realized what he had gotten himself into. Izuku’s ass.
