Steve jumped into action, tearing into the plastic bag that Eddie had tossed at him to pull out an immaculately rolled joint. He placed it between his lips, smugly noticing how Eddie’s eyes lingered there for far too long. Watching how he held a lighter to the tip, sucking a long drag into his lungs and making a cherry burn red and bright. Steve licked his lips when he was done exhaling the smoke in thick, grey tendrils – just to add fuel to the fire.
“So, Munson,” he said conversationally. “You gonna come over here and take what you want?”
