Eddie is not scared of the shadows.
Most people dread the dark and fear the night, but he doesn't. Not since he arrived in Gotham with his father, met his mother's new husband plus his baby step-sister Stephanie and first heard about him.
The Batman. The shadow of Gotham.
Eight-year-old Edward doesn't fear him. He... loves him. Loves what he represents, loves thinking about him, gazing at the city with wonder from his bedroom window at night. His beloved imaginary friend, who watches over and protects the innocent.
His angel of darkness.
One day, his Shadow will love him back.
