Summary
A military parade? This far out into the countryside? Their horn carries through the valley, snaking past the hills to reach Link as he gardens. He stands, squinting at the retinue. They march, steady and unyielding, through the valley; massive regalia they carry fluttering in the soft breeze of the afternoon. The soldiers move as one unit; their polished armor glittering in the summer sun as their footsteps echo through the canyon. Years ago, a sight like that would have filled him with an indescribable joy.
Now it brings nothing more than an interruption to his calm.
