Summary

It’s dark out. Probably past midnight. The air nips at Childe’s nose with an autumn chill. He curses as he runs past the local high school, now quiet and desolate at night. There’s a stitch in his side, but he’s not about to stop now. He knows Zhongli will be looking for him come morning, when he sees the unlocked door of the empty cage in his living room.
