Beyond the blue sky there below the deep blue sea, noticing a girl with silver white hair with tips shades of blue, a tail of shark with fins and gills on the side of her lower body, Eyes like glowing light sapphires in the darkness of the sea
Her name is Gawr Gura, She is an Atlantean Shark.
One Day,
Gura was swimming among the reefs, through the corals looking for food. Her luck didn't striked and saw none, leaving the shark girl hungry. Still looking for food she then saw something
She noticed a weird wooden structure that seemed to be floating on the sea, out of curiosity she wanted to see it closely, the closer she got the moment she saw a figure.
It was a girl like her but yet she has golden locks of hair Gura thought She might be a lemon shark! but no, she didn't see any fins over her, she saw cloth covering her body she knew it was itchy but yet the girl in the wooden structure made it look comfy.
It seems like the girl was doing something with a wooden stick on the end there was a silver hook that Gura was familiar with
A line was thrown, Gura saw it and hid as quick as she can, she took a peek on what it is, a worm was hooked on it Gura went closer, it was small but the fishes seems to be attached to it, one of it bit it and was trying to unhook itself from the line, Gura was about to grab but then the line pulled itself! Gura was surprised at what it was; she was curious and waited patiently.
The line was thrown back, the fish was gone. Gura was in shock as she thought the fish got devoured quickly by the girl on board. Excitedly she grabbed one of the fish and hooked it to the line. It was up again, this time Gura went to see what's up on going and how does she devours it quickly. The thing is she didn't ate it and stored it somewhere across the wooden structure, Gura was confused as if why isn't she eating it.
A few days later
Gura was resting on a rock, she felt like missing the girl on the boat. Alas, she saw the same wooden structure up on the sea, this time Gura wanted to introduce herself to this beautiful girl she thought of. She then got closer and peeked her head out. It seemed like the girl was still moving away but yet Gura continued to follow.
The girl stopped Gura thought this was a perfect opportunity for her to introduce herself to the girl on the wooden structure
...
The girl then noticed a shark fin following her. She didn't know who Gura was and what she was all about. She knows that Sharks are dangerous. She stopped and tried to hide herself in the boat, she noticed the water splashed but nothing came out the boat moved for a moment. Curious, she peeked out and GAH! A shark girl was then looking at her innocently
Gura was surprised by what the girl had said, now she understands what she is, she has legs rather than having a tail like hers and can survive on the air longer. Gura remembered what her elders taught her, that the girl she was wondering about is human. She was disciplined that humans were cruel and not as friendly as she thinks to be, but Gura didn't believe much and wanted to see to her own eyes.
Gura waved to the girl who was aware of her, Gura thought that she was afraid, since it was uncommon for humans to seek out creatures like her from underwater
The girl then spoke "Hello?.." She said, Gura was taught how to read human language and understand but yet doesn't know how to speak. she wanted to greet back,
"H-he..la-llo" she tried pronouncing it to the human who seems to intended to lower her guard from the shark's response
"Can you understand me?" The girl questioned, Gura nodded in the way the girl got closer to her and sat beside the shark who was in the ridge of the boat. The girl kept on talking, and Gura was being questioned by yes and no types honestly since the girl figured she cannot talk.
The girl then thought of something to say to Gura, "Can you write?" she questioned, Gura smiled and gave her a small nod
...
Luckily, she brought paper and a pen for counting reasons but yet brought back to Gura. Gura then started to write simple questions like "What's your name?" the girl then answered. The simple questions went on and so then the day ended and she needed to go back home, she shared her farewells to Gura and for her too.
...
Her name is Amelia, She is a Human girl
Gura really likes the girl's name it feels like there's a soft spot in the end of saying her name, on what she understood she is a fisher girl she fish out fishes up to the surface and sells them or take it home to eat,
Amelia was only 21 years old
Gura was over 9,000 years old and cannot keep on remembering.
...
Tomorrow then came
Gura was excited to talk to Amelia again, she tried hard to say her name but only can blurt out Ame, she cannot pronounce the lia part of her name but yet she felt like Ame was a nice nickname for her. She then saw the same wooden structure upon the sea, she rushed over there and saw Amelia with books and papers.
While Amelia was arranging the books and papers she then waited for Gura, a splashed was heard in a quick seconds and the Shark appeared happily from the sight of seeing Amelia
...
Hours passed as Gura was enjoying her time with Amelia, both were having fun and Gura was learning more and more every time she was a fast learner Amelia thinks. The sun was setting. It felt like minutes for Gura to have fun with Amelia, Amelia was about to bid her farewell till Gura bit her hand, Gura then smiled but Amelia was still confused with her bleeding hand. Gura explained it's how Atlantean sharks show affection to someone they like dearly.
Amelia's face turned red and tried to brush it off and covered up her hand, it made Gura sad. Amelia said it still will be there but she just wanted to stop the bleeding by then she will be back by tomorrow.
Gura was happy again and said her farewell and disappeared in the reefs the ocean quickly on leaving Amelia on the wooden structure, Amelia smiled and left the sea to her town.
A few months have passed,
Gura shared everything she knew and Amelia shared as well the both really liked hanging out with each other till they've been struck on how in love with each other, they still yet didn't know how to say it to one another.
Gura always give exotic fishes for Amelia as gifts and Amelia gives pastries or other food for her, Gura really likes the tastes since she's always been eating the same thing
Fish..
...
Amelia always fondly wondered about others like Gura, but Gura explained to Amelia thoroughly that Atlantis had fallen and was left like Ruins in the sea. Gura doesn't know when or what had happened by the time she came back, Amelia felt pity for her but yet didn't say anything.
Today was the day Gura planned on confessing her feelings for Amelia, she hoped for her to accept it. If not, it's okay for her to be stuck to be friends. But.. Amelia didn't show up, Gura then remembered she won't be coming back for a long time. It really made Gura frown, she wanted to see her sunshine and tell her how she felt..
...
But Amelia, on the other hand was having problems she had changed jobs, passing throughout the moments and had difficulties she wasn't doing very well with her fishing and wanting to see the shark once again.
A month has passed,
Amelia isn't still showing up, Gura's poor little heart is breaking every second when she doesn't see her.
...
Amelia misses Gura, she kept on looking at her hand while doing her job as something new
A year has passed,
Gura cannot recall when was the last time she saw Amelia, Gura has been wandering the sea and closer to the shore, she still hoped to see Amelia.
...
Amelia feels guilty from leaving the shark, she promised she'll be back after all. Yet she was stuck in an office doing a lot of work, she cannot visit the shark.
3 years has passed,
Gura seems hopeless, it never felt this long ever since a millennia she ever lived, she just wanted to see her..
...
Amelia has been trying to find a way to where Gura is now, she still have a lot of work but yet she won't give up on finding her shark.
5 years has passed,
Gura was sitting on a beach on a log, it seemed like she grew legs and her shark tail was behind now, humming a familiar tune to her and the fisher girl she knew when they were hanging out.
...
Gura was still holding on to her feelings, she knew that she would come back. By that time it was night, looking at the stars and the moon shining down on her like a spotlight, she heard footsteps around the beach. She didn't know who they were or what they were doing at this time of night.
But from this moment Amelia has finally found the shark she has been looking for.
...
Gura felt a cold air hit her back. It was like the certain someone who'll always be Gura was waiting for, by the time someone was already behind Gura. Curious, Gura turned around and then she saw Amelia, who looked more tired and formal. She was wearing a beige cream colored coat and a hat as well, Gura stood up and started crying from shock due to the sight of the girl right in front.
Amelia was stuttered as she felt so guilty over leaving the shark girl she loved so dearly these past years, yet she saw she's more than she was before she seemed to have shortened her hair on the length like hers but yet overall the same features besides the legs.
Amelia also started crying
Gura hugged Amelia to comfort her, and Amelia and so on did it back. The two were so happy to meet each other again. It was like over these years nothing but time flew by, it had been so long.
...
Amelia apologized over and over again, Gura kept on resolving her and it wasn't her fault.
Amelia looked and cupped over Gura's face. Both faces were close together as Amelia pulled closer, she then intertwined both of their lips together. Such tenderness and Sweetness was shared by the two who longed to see each other.
It went for a minute and Gura breaked the kiss for wondering what it was, Amelia explained how humans express how much they love someone and so on.
Gura's face felt a bit hot and blushed while her tail wagged. She then noticed Amelia's hand, it was the bite mark she gave her. It seems like it never left ever since that day. Amelia kept it for her to remember, remembering that same shark she felt and fell for. Giggling both of them.
Both humming along with the dark sky from the shining moon, both felt loved with having so much and wanting to catch up to the years that passed.
Amelia kissed the shark's forehead, Gura felt happy, wagging her tail left and right by her action. Amelia promised,
She will never leave her beloved shark over the lone blue sea ever again.
