Chapter 1: YOU SENT ME PICTURES OF YOU NAKED WHILE I WAS IN A WORK MEETING!

Chapter Text

"YOU SENT ME PICTURES OF YOU NAKED WHILE I WAS IN A WORK MEETING!"

Dani's voice blasts across the room as soon as she storms in.

Gigi, lazily hanging on the couch, sits up to look at her - her face all innocent, yet unable to hide the playful shimmer in her eyes.

"I was only half naked," she shrugs.

"No, no, no," Dani corrects her, vigorously shaking her head as she swiftly closes the distance between them in just a few steps. "You were only half on it. And that half was completely naked!"

Tilting her head, Gigi pulls a face. "You're saying you didn't like what you saw?"

"I'm saying people could have seen it!" Dani goes on, waving her hands in the air with frustration. "I'm saying you got me so fucking distracted that I said yes to something I really should have said no to!"

Before she can stop it, a laugh bursts from Gigi's lips. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry," she quickly apologizes. But it's too late.

"This really isn't funny," Dani grumbles, her eyes still as dark as before.

Gigi takes her hand, slightly relieved that Dani doesn't pull it away, and leads her down to sit next to her.

"You're right, I'm sorry," she tells her again. "I didn't mean for this to happen though. I never thought you'd check my message when you couldn't."

Dani, somewhat calmed down now that the anger is out, and—admittedly—by Gigi's soothing voice, frowns at her.

"Why wouldn't I?"

"Because you were at work," Gigi simply answers her. "Work always comes first."

As she lets Gigi's words sink in, Dani just stares at her for a moment. There's no judgement in her voice. And unlike before, all her eyes are showing her is honesty, respect and devotion.

She shakes her head again, real slow this time, while her eyes soften and a warm smile creeps up on her face.

"No, it doesn't," she corrects her girlfriend again. "You do."
