"Why are they heart-shaped?"
"Why not?" Eddie giggled; his pal picked a tiny purple sweet he examined meticulously.
"It's October. Aren't they supposed to be... pumpkin, skull, ghost or spider-shaped?"
"I like them heart-shaped."
Bruce seemed skeptical.
Edward and him were sitting on the tiled rooftop of Wayne Manor, watching the moon and eating candies. Tomorrow they'll go trick-or-treating with Stephie, Eddie's little sister, dressed as a Sphinx and a Vampire. Like... buddies. Boyfriends?
"Eddie?"
"Yes?"
"Aren't those Valentine's Day candies?"
"... Maybe."
"For Halloween?"
"For you. On Halloween Eve."
Bruce frowned. Edward smiled. One day, he'll explain 'feelings' to him.
