The beast beckons within, it is our greatest sin, craved into my skin.
Everything he had suppressed came up in that moment. It was just like his uncle said, he would try to mask himself behind a façade of seriousness and perfection. Acting like he was in control. But deep down he knew no matter how hard he tried; he would never be good enough. Chasing approval and praise around every corner, just to be denied of it. Pathetic. Pathetic, was what he was. He knew, and so did his uncle. It felt so good to be held and cradled. To finally have someone who knew him for what he was. Always pretending, it was tiring
