Summary
When Nile and Lykon pretend to date so they can finally sleep in one of the better beds in Andy's safehouses, it seems like a decent plan. It’s not a sustainable plan, or a well thought out plan, but it is a way for Nile to finally find one single solitary perk in the new life she’s been thrust into. However, soon enough, Nile realizes she hasn't considered how dating another immortal will affect the dynamics of a team she's only just joined, or how lying to that team will make her feel. Already struggling to adapt and unsure of her place in the group she’s found herself in, Nile is soon torn between pursuing what started out as a fake relationship but might have real potential and coming clean to the group.
Will her uncertainty about the work the team does and her relationship with Lykon damage her still fragile relationships to the group beyond repair? Is she even ready to be part of a new family? A canon divergence AU in which Lykon lives.
