Hidan laughed out loud at this and kicked back at Kakuzu’s legs. The older man yelped but snorted and Hidan felt his body jerk with suppressed laughter behind him.
“You’re such a fucking asshole ‘Kuzu. Don’t insult Jashin-sama. It’s blasphemy,” Hidan said but there wasn’t any bite in his voice and the panic he’d felt was gone. Kakuzu just hummed. He still had his face against Hidan’s back. Hidan could feel his breath on his skin. It felt nice. Kakuzu must be more drunk than he’d thought because it was very unusual for the older man to be this soft.
