Chapter Text
It has been a long time since Alberu met that strange guy who changed the course of his life. At the age of 22 Alberu has already solidified his position as the next king of Roan. He no longer doubted his position and was far more confident than he was a few years back.
Alberu wanted to meet that guy again, he wanted to ask him questions, he wanted to know his identity, and he wanted to keep him by his side. No matter how much time passed Alberu could not forget him, instead, his yearning for him increased with each passing minute. He did everything to find him but failed. He even kept that servant in his palace, even though he was a dunce that could not do a single thing right. At last, Alberu had to give up and decided to wait, hopeful for the day that guy showed up again.
It was not until seven years after the incident that he got a clue. It was a normal day when a sudden delivery of a strange document turned his head upside down. The document was full of all sorts of information. It included the location of several ancient powers as well as the method to obtain them, listed names of several people Alberu should save along with their location and specific times at which these people will appear. The document also mentioned several people Alberu should vary and keep in check. The creator of the document specifically mentioned Venion Stan and all of his dark secrets and illegal businesses. Alberu could tell that the sender had a special grudge against Venion.
A very thick part of the document included information about a secret organisation and its villain boss. How the said villain called White Star was a reincarnator that was going to be the root of all sorts of problems in Eastern and Western continents. The sender has listed all of the future plans, secret bases and members of this secret organisation. Among the members, the ones that could be used to backstab white Star were mentioned separately.
Alberu could feel a headache brewing. All this information was enough to cause turmoil in both the eastern and western continents. It was super hard to believe that all those wars were going to happen in the future. But Alberu could tell that the temperature around the world was changing. He could feel wars brewing in thus far peaceful continent. If the information mentioned in the document was true, the world was going to be hell in future and Alberu was the only one who could stop it.
“Let’s see... a navy, a knight brigade, a mage brigade ... what else I would have to prepare?” Assassins, sword masters, elves, beast people and even dragons were mentioned in the document. He massaged his temples.
“Is it even possible to get all sorts of races to leave their differences aside, come together and fight? Even if it does happen who in the world is going to lead all of them? It would cause more chaos than good. What type of crazy bastard created this document...”
Alberu was really curious about the identity of the person who sent him these documents. Tasha who received this document told him that the sender sent it from Henituse county but other than that he could not find anything. But it somehow reminded him of “that guy” from seven years ago.
“I better investigate this matter first.”
With a small glimmer of hope, Alberu decided to send some dark elves to Henituse Estate to investigate. Before he could call Tasha suddenly light enveloped him and when he opened his eyes he was in a large theatre-like room.
There was a large screen on the stage in front of him bright light was shining on the stage and the rest of the room was dark. Suddenly he saw light in the room and a black-haired teenager along with a black dragon appeared. To say Alberu was shocked was an understatement. It took him several moments to realize what he was seeing. A young dragon?? A dragon accompanying a human?? This day was truly full of surprises.
He then decided to compose himself and approached the boy. Looked like the pair were as confused as him when they suddenly appeared in this strange place. They were looking around with shocked eyes. As Alberu approached them the pair moved their attention towards him.
“Who are you? Where is this place? Why are we here?”
Choi Han bombarded him with questions. The dragon cutely stared at him as well. Alberu calmly replied:
“I am Alberu Crossman. Unfortunately, I don’t know anything about this place either. I was suddenly transported here just like you.”
“Alberu Crossman? The crown prince of Roan?” Choi Han was shocked. Does it have anything to do with what happened recently?
“You know me?” Alberu asked.
“Yeah... I have heard your name. We are from the Northeastern territory of the Roan kingdom. The Henituse Estate.”
“Oh! I see...” Henituse territory again? Alberu mused.
“I am Choi Han by the way and this is Dodam Miru.”
Before Alberu could greet the cute little dragon, white light appeared again. This time it teleported a lot of people. Dodam who was no longer shocked decided to make himself invisible before others saw him.
The ones who appeared were the members of Henituse county. Deruth Henituse along with his wife, two sons and a daughter. were shocked at first and then Deruth saw Alberu and came over to him. His family followed him.
Deruth greeted Alberu first followed by his family. Deruth looked towards Cale and motioned him with his eyes to introduce himself. Redhead who looked extremely uninterested in these people greeted them in a boring tone.
“Greetings... My name is Cale Henituse.”
“Cale?” Choi Han asked a bit too loud.
“Yeah? Do I know you?”
“You don’t?” Choi Han was a little disappointed.
“I don’t think so,” Cale replied and started looking around showing that he was not interested in this conversation anymore.
<He is not our terrible human. He is different from him. But somehow, he seems familiar.>
Dodam was also shocked after hearing the name of the red-haired boy but he was already familiar with his terrible human and this person was definitely different from him.
Deruth looked towards Choi Han. He had heard reports of the appearance of some extremely wealthy young master in the Rain city. The noble caused quite a ruckus by spending money here and there.
‘Is it him?’ the black-haired boy definitely matched the description of that young master in reports.
“Do you know where we are your highness?” Deruth asked Alberu.
“No idea we also just got here.”
Once again, the room was enveloped by a very bright light. The king of roan Zed Crossman appeared along with the second and third princes.
Alberu decided to go and greet the King but his steps halted as a mysterious Being appeared on the stage. It was a person with white hair, dark skin and blue eyes. The person was wearing all black. He had a majestic aura around him which made the whole room descend into darkness. With everyone’s attention on him, he smiled and then started to speak.
“Looks like everyone that was supposed to come has gathered. Now shall we begin?”
“My name is Chael and I am a servant of God of Time”
He paused and then looked at the confused faces of the people gathered there. He smiled again. He definitely was an annoying creature.
“I see confusion and fear on your faces, don’t worry I am not going to harm you. I will explain everything first.
This is a place created with the help of my God. I have called you here to fulfil your desire to see the person you have been missing. I will let you meet him but in return, you have to agree to one condition.”.
“What are you talking about? Is this some kind of joke?” King Zed asked. He was definitely not pleased with the situation.
“No this is not a joke. I am offering you a deal. If you agree you will get to know information that will help you a lot. In addition...”
He looked towards Alberu, then Choi Han and invisible Dodam.
“I would let you guys meet HIM.”
“Him?” Deruth asked in confusion.
“CALE...” Chael said with a big grin on his face.
“Me?” Cale looked towards him in confusion.
“Not you... the other Cale” Chael replied.
“Would you please speak clearly?” This time Alberu asked in frustration.
“Is it the person we met a few days ago?” Choi Han spoke instead of Chael.
“Yeah, you met him a few days ago... but prince Alberu met him when he was 15”
“A-Are you talking about HIM?” Alberu asked in a shaking voice.
“Yes. All you have to do is fulfil God’s condition and I will give you information that is going to help you in future... I will even let you meet him.”
“What is the condition?” Alberu wanted to accept the offer right away but he had to restrain himself. He already has bad memories of another god that traumatized his childhood. Alberu was still willing to accept the deal if it was good enough. Even if it was not good enough, he would just scam this guy into giving him a good deal.
“The god wants to create a temple in the Roan kingdom. And you have to make it your official religion.”
“And how would that benefit that god.” The second prince Robbit Crossman spoke for the first time.
“The power of God comes from their followers. In the coming years Roan Kingdom is going to become very powerful. As the god’s followers become strong, they spread the fame of their god, as a result, the power of God will increase as well.”
“Sounds like a lame excuse” Zed Crossman spoke with a bored voice.
“You don’t believe my words. How about I give you a little taste so you decide afterwards.”
Suddenly the screen lit up and started to show a scene
“It is now opening.”
“Huh...??” The Henituse family turned to Cale after hearing his voice. But Cale was just as shocked as they were so he couldn’t reply to them. They moved their attention to the screen again.
“Ah.”
Someone gasped after understanding what he meant by that. They all started to look up at the sky one by one.
“O, over there-”
Without any noise…
“…The black smoke has disappeared!”
As if it had been there the whole time…
“That building is…?!”
The black smoke had disappeared and a building was slowly appearing in the sky.
Rosalyn quietly mumbled.
“That is the Temple of the Sealed God.”
“Rosalyn? Isn’t she the princess of Breck kingdom? She is there as well?” Royals who recognized Rosalyn were shocked by her sudden appearance.
“It is the first time I am hearing of this god. That temple looks beautiful.” Violan said while observing the temple on screen.
It was an extremely luxurious and holy-looking temple made of white marble that could not be compared to anything on this continent. The temple shone even more beautifully under the light of the orb with Divine Power that Alberu had shot up into the air.
“I have done what now?” Devine power? Where did that come from?
Nobody would ever think that the God of Despair would be sealed in such a place.
They were all confused at the information being thrown at them from left and right but could not do anything as the scene continued without stopping.
This temple floating in the sky… Stairs started to appear one by one from the temple that was glowing from the holy light instead of the moonlight. More steps started appearing and heading down. The staircase finally reached the ground.
“Ha!”
Cale scoffed in disbelief.
“Is this being done on purpose?”
The staircase ended right in front of Cale.
The scene ended but everyone was too stunned to speak they did not understand what was going on. Who was this sealed god? No more importantly who was this person who looked like Cale Henituse? Even his name was the same.
<Choi Han do you think it is our terrible human?>
Dodam asked, Choi Han flinched and nodded his head.
“I think so.”
Something was telling Choi Han that it was that person. It must be that guy since the representative of God said he was going to show them the person they wanted to see.
“Oraboni what is happening? What are you doing there?”
Cale came to his senses after lily asked him a question.
“I- I don’t have any idea what is going on.”
