   Summary

Meeting Calliope has unexpectedly deep effects on Dream, to the point his physical form changes. Shaken and upset, the Prince of Stories goes to his human lover in search of comfort and gets more than he asked for.

This story comes after “A rose by any other name” but can be read separated. Inspired by a comment left by sweetNsimple in the first fic of the AU.
