The Opal Crime Syndicate has been viciously running the city of Yokohama for decades now. It is run by the infamous ghost known as Opal. The leader can only ever be identified by the shining Opal plated pistol they carry, but the only time anyone has ever seen the gun was moments before they were dead.
Osamu Dazai is Opal. The only ones who know his true identity are the five inner executives that helped him usurp the previous leader. Opal is a faceless entity that keeps Yokohama's underbelly well-fed and strictly organized. He stays in the dark happily buried in the bonds of the syndicate that raised him.
Chuuya Nakahara is a rising star detective with the Yokohama police force. His quick wit and tenacity have led him straight to Dazai's true identity. He's the first person to ever do so, but what does he do with all the power that comes with knowing someone as dangerous as Dazai?
