Summary
Hydra had thought they had gotten lucky when they first acquired the man who would become their greatest asset in the form of the Winter Soldier. The man had zero indications of a soulmate, and that fact lasted for decades... Until it didn't. Upon finding a soul mark blooming upon the Soldier's skin, Hydra's higher ups knew they had to take action. They couldn't leave the soul bond up to chance, they needed to take control so that it would work in their favor. They began their search for the Soldier's other half, and they find it in the form of a very young Clint Barton.
