    Sauron.

    She found herself unable to say the name as she used to, hissing at some disembodied darkness far away. Now the name tangled with the memory of hazel eyes and a deep laugh that made her ears prick.
    The seasons changed, and she was able to build around that feeling. Galadriel was a fortress to protect herself. The bridge to her pale heart was drawn, and she gave her joy sparingly.

    So, when he wretched her from her walls in the dark of night, the shock thundered around her like crumbling stone.

    Sauron infiltrates one of Galadriel’s dreams, and presses her for information. Things don’t go as planned.
