   Summary

   Day 8- Spider + “Falling asleep to your partners back”

   Imperium Huxley and Imperium Freelancer: The Freelancer wakes up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and finds a spider. They go back to their bedroom to wake up Huxley and overthink whether or not there may be more in the apartment. Huxley pulls them back into bed and calms them down.

   “I’m not afraid of you.” They said without missing a beat.

   “You should be.” He mumbled.

   “Why should I be? You only ever get affectionate when you’re tired.” He opened his eyes and paid attention to how their body felt pressed against his. It felt good. Familiar. Which was to be expected, they had been in the same position many times before.

   “I’m not affectionate, I am simply-” He yawned and pressed a kiss to their hair. “Simply shielding you from any dangers that might come your way.”
