It is hard not to notice him. He's physically defined himself in a way that is impossible not to notice. Team hates him for it! Hates that blonde hair tied up highlighting that jawline and those piercings; hates it even more let down, flowing freely just like him swimming in the water. Hates the way he can see those tattoos in all their glory while swimming; hates it even more when they are covered with a completely ordinary white shirt and Team knows they are there. But most of all, he hates the soft smirk which appears on Win's face only when Win thinks Team is not looking. For the last few weeks, Team has been trying not to look at Win looking at him. But the water reflects, the mirror of his car reflects, hell the glass windows all around reflect. Team almost rolls his eyes but turns that into a neck exercise instead! Have to warm up anyway.
It is not that Team is not looking. Team just doesn't know why he is looking! Go to university on a scholarship, study moderately, swim exceptionally, find a nice girl, date her, and experience what love has to offer – that is his plan. His simple, uncomplicated, and perfectly not confusing plan. To be honest, the only girl he has been around these past couple of weeks and loves having around has been Manaow. And he's definitely not going to date her! Ew! That would be like dating Pharm! Ew!
It's not the looks, even though, well… anyway, Pharm is handsome, P'Dean is handsome, and there are 50 other guys here who are handsome. He isn't concerned about them though. Wait… shouldn't he be looking at girls who are beautiful instead of guys who are handsome! Team slaps himself a couple of times to come back to reality but what comes to mind instead is, "P'Win is beautiful." Okay, he's going to be murdered in mockery if Manaow and Pharm hear it and he will kill himself if someone else hears it! Maybe that's why he is having all these feelings. Yes, that's it. P'Win is not just handsome but also beautiful. Sometimes when he is standing by the pool and the light hits his blonde hair and smooth face in that specific angle…
Team jumps into the pool. Maybe the chlorine will wash away whatever this disease is.
Then comes out of the pool at the end of the training having thoroughly not washed away any diseases. He's just confused, that's all. He hasn't had a major relationship yet and he's just confused. Plus, Win, his entire gorgeous existence, is standing right there with eyebrows knit together while he looks at some file, his piercings flashing, those veiny hands...
Oh my god! this is his sexual awakening! His epiphany of a sexual awakening is for a man! Not just any man but this, this senior he's going to see everyday!
Oh my god! He likes men!
Win blows the whistle, still not looking up from whatever file he's scanning. Team bolts out of there like he is on a track athlete scholarship instead.
A week later, Team has to answer the damn question.
