Chapter Text

Damian hums as he packs the rest of his belongings, today he was going to check out Daily Planet the office building he planned on buying and renovating.

To his left was his ex wife Mar'i, they had gotten into many arguments before but this one was different.

Damian remembers the glass that was shattered

The screaming of his ex wife

and then he just said it

"I'm not cheating on you Mar'i for fuck sake! Im gay!? are you happy now???" Damian yelled

"You're gay?" Mar'i choked.

"Yes.. I am, and I just didn't have the courage to tell you.." Damian sighed as he seen two small feet run past the door

His poor sunshine, his daughter...

He knew this divorce would effect her terribly but, it's for the better he thought.

Damian was snapped out of thoughts, the sound of his daughters voice brought joy into Damians life, it kept him from drinking his life away. "Daddy, when are we going to the new building i'm booored!" Valerie complained, "soon I promise go bother your uh mother.. daddy is very busy." Damian ushered Valerie away so he could focus on packing the rest of his office.

"C'mere kiddo!" Mar'i called, just hearing her voice shattered Damian.

"We are going to let daddy work, but me and you will have mommy and daughter day!" Mar'i gently raised Valerie into the air as they walked out of Damians office.

Damian sighed

But he had no time for sadness, for he had to prepare for his new Job title at Daily Planet.
