"Yoonnnnn!!!" Jongho called out for his cat, who strutted her way down the hall to go to her dad and settle into his lap. Jongho enjoyed his cat's company all the time. He stroked her fur and kissed the top of her head. "Are you excited for the move? You'll be staying in a bigger space with me!" His cat meowed and hugged him. He knows he has the most affectionate and adorable cat in the whole world. He might be a gym lover to everyone but his love for Yoon and literally any cat cannot be controlled.

He taped up the boxes and carried two at a time, arranging them at the living room. He dusted his hands off and huffed, "That should do it. They'll be here by tomorrow morning to pick up all these boxes". Jongho took his phone and set an alarm for the next morning. He looked at his cat, who was desperate for treats. "What is it, Yoon? I'll give you treats later, okay? I can't overfeed you or else you'll need to see the vets..." He picked up his cat and patted her. It was as if she was his own daughter.

The movers had already arrived but Jongho insisted that he'd carry some of the boxes by himself. "So you guys go up and down just to bring these to the truck? That's tiresome! No, I'll help you, don't sweat it" the raventte reassured them. They thanked him for that kind gesture and helped him with some lighter boxes . As they moved the boxes, Jongho got ready to move as well. He placed Yoon inside a cat bag and brought her along with him, feeling excited. He got in his car and set off to his new home, impatient. "Do you think you'll like our new house, princess?" Jongho asked Yoon.

She meowed delightedly in response. He might be a cat whisperer after all. Once they had reached the apartment, it was beautiful. The building was painted in a minimalistic colour and it was clean. He parked his car and entered the building, asking for service immediately.

"Hi, hello there. I just moved in here" Jongho waved.

"Oh, good morning, sir! May I have your particulars, just to be sure?" The receptionist asked. So Jongho did just that. She confirmed everything and gave him a pass to the apartment. Jongho bowed to her and smiled. Damn, that receptionist could've sworn she had fallen in love.

The door of his apartment opened and the smell of pinewood flooded in. The floors were made out of that and the walls were of white colour. He let Yoon out of her bag and let her explore the place. He, too, did the same thing. He let his eyes take in every feature of his new home. It wasn't furnished yet but he was still intrigued. He let his finger run itself across the wall and discover his new home. Jongho stepped into the kitchen and smiled as both his hands settled on the kitchen island. He was satisfied. He worked hard for this.

He left Yoon inside and went to check out the corridor, hoping he would bump into neighbours or residents of the building. To his luck, he eventually did. A young woman who seemed sleep deprived noticed the new face and held out her hand. "Hello there! I'm Kim In Hye! Nice to meet you! New?"

"Yes, I'm very new here. Choi Jongho. Nice to meet your acquaintance" He shook her hand. "Oh, where are you staying?"

"I'm staying just right here, number 1002"

"1002? Ah.."

"Why? Is there a problem?"

"Nothing. You're staying beside 1004. He just plays his electric guitar most of the time. It's very annoying. Not many people complained about it but I'm suffering here! You'll get used to it eventually.. maybe. I rarely see him around. He must like being mysterious–"

Right at that moment, a guitar could be heard in that room and Jongho sighed. He had to stay next to a noisy neighbour? How is he supposed to handle this? He turned his head and looked at Inhye, "I'll see if I can hold out. See you around, Ms Kim"

"Mrs, actually"

"Oh! In that case, I'll see you around, Mrs Kim!" Jongho grinned. She returned the gesture to him and headed down the elevator. God, the guitar riff was so loud, Jongho felt like losing it! He went inside his apartment again and decided to arrange his furniture while listening to music. Good thing he doesn't need to use airpods though. He already had free music. If you remember, he has a neighbour.. who plays the electric guitar. Jongho moved the couches, tables and chairs all by himself, rearranging the format of his furniture and stops once he feels something scratching at his pants.

"Yoon? Hey baby, what's up?" At that moment, the guitar riff was sudden and loud and Yoon yelped, jumping out of his hold and hiding somewhere. "Yoon! Gosh.." Jongho sighed, running his hand through his black hair. One thing for sure is that Jongho didn't like this loud noise if his cat doesn't like it either. He went to open the door, looking at the next door neighbour's apartment door. It was shut. What did he need to use amplifiers for, honestly? ‘That’s it, I’m confronting this dude’, Jongho thought. He knocked on the door. Nothing. He did it again. Nothing. This time, he knocked even louder that his knuckles could bust (he's done worse). The guitar playing stopped because he could hear that the amplifier was immediately unplugged from the guitar and he heard the door slowly unlock. The door opened and there stood a slightly shorter man. He had unkempt blonde hair, his mullet was quite long and he had a lot of piercings on both his ears. He donned an oversized black metallica shirt, shorts and wore bracelets on his wrists. But when the neighbour looked up, Jongho swore his heart raced faster than it should have. He was so gorgeous.

"Hi.. Have I...met you?" the blonde boy asked, his voice a tad bit deeper than Jongho had expected. ‘You need to converse, Jongho!’, the ravenette told himself in his heart.  He gulped and started,"No, actually. I'm your new neighbour... Choi.. Jongho". He held out his hand, hoping for a response. Lucky for him, the blonde shook it and smiled.

"I'm Kang Yeosang. Thank god, that naggy old hag is gone.."

"Sorry?"

"Oh, I meant the previous owner of your new home. Couldn't contain his rage and ended up coming to my home to beat me up" Yeosang chuckled. Jongho blinked a few times. He got beaten up by an oldie? Yeosang looked at him and cleared his throat, "Sorry, I guess that sounded a bit too brutal. So, what's up?"

"I..I kinda need you to keep it down a little. I mean, your playing is super good and all and I love hearing it... but Yoon doesn't like it"

"Yoon?"

"I'm sorry, I meant my cat...Yoon" Jongho scratched the back of his neck. By the expression on the other's face, he seemed surprised. He scanned Jongho up and down, aware of his build. The black tank top wasn't helping the blonde at all, causing him to stare longer.

".. Uh.." Jongho chuckled nervously, noticing how unusually long he’s taking to check him out.

"Cool" Yeosang broke out, "You like cats?"

"Yeah, I do, actually. Does it seem weird that I do? Because everyone thinks so too and–"

"It's not weird. Just cute. Cats over dogs any day"

"You're right about that" Jongho smiled, glad to hear someone calling him cute. Yeosang grinned back. Jongho could notice those baby fangs that appeared when his mouth stretched into a smile. It was adorable. "Sorry about my guitar, Jongho.. I have gigs every weekend so I always try to practice to the best of my ability. I'll keep it down for the sake of your cat"

"Thank you. You.. go for gigs, you say?"

"Mhm"

".. May I just ask where you hold them?"

"There's a cafe nearby. If you're interested, you could.. come over on any day in the morning... Not that I expect to see you there or anything but..yeah" Yeosang mumbled, fiddling with the strings of his purple electric guitar. "I see. Thank you again, for..turning it down"

"It's no problem. See ya?" Yeosang tilted his head and Jongho nodded. The door shut close and Jongho's heart stopped pounding erratically. Wow, did he just witness an unbelievably sexy and cute guitarist? He might just die from the overwhelming feeling. He looked so gorgeous and had a honey-like voice. He dressed so perfectly and his eyes were so so brown and big and warm.

Yeosang sighed in relief. His new neighbour looked extremely hot. So hot that he had the urge to... Actually, he can’t even remember what his urge was. He nearly lost his shit after having a good look at Jongho. He tugged at his hair and bit his hand. 'Why didn't you ask for his number, Kang Yeosang!' he thought to himself. He maintained composure but failed as the thought of Jongho in that tank top bothered him for the rest of his afternoon. When he was watching his phone, when he was cleaning his guitar. Literally all day.

Jongho called out for Yoon and she popped out from the table, running to Jongho. "Hey, it's alright! You won't be hearing loud noises from now on. Let's take a nap for awhile, okay?" Jongho told her, sitting on the couch that he had just placed right in front of the tv. Yoon hopped up onto his chest and Jongho hugged her from there as he slowly laid down. "Sleep well, princess" He whispered. The feline purred and snuggled in closer to his neck.

Muffled knocking could only be heard as Jongho slowly woke up. The knocking sound became clear after a while and it was coming from the door. Jongho looked down at Yoon. She was still sleeping. So he carried her along and quietly walked to the door, opening it slowly.

"Hi there!–" the person started, but Jongho shushed him as his cat was sleeping soundly over his shoulder. That person was Yeosang. He seemed flustered and he had something in his hands. "Hey. What's up?" Jongho quietly said.

"Oh, I just wanted to, uh, drop by and give you a welcome gift. I.. don't give gifts to just anyone. My guitar playing wasn't a good start to your day, was it?" Yeosang chuckled nervously, explaining as softly as possible. He doesn't give presents to just anyone, he says.

"It's alright, actually. What did you get for me?"

"Well, I didn't get it for you… I made it. It's a shortcake. I could only make a small portion because.. you know, I don't know much about you and I’m afraid you don't like cakes or you're allergic to some things and-"

"It's really okay! If it makes you feel any better, I'm allergy-free. I don't like sweets but I guess cakes are an exception. Thanks, Yeosang. Seems like you might just be my favourite neighbour" Jongho joked and gently took the small box that's filled up with the cake. Yeosang burned red at the last statement and he was going to go. Jongho was going to go back in as well when he stopped in his own tracks, turning back to Yeosang. "You wanna come in sometime? You could always meet Yoon" He tilted his body a little to show the cat clinging to him. Yeosang nearly cooed at the sight. But the blonde snapped out of it and responded, "Yeah! Sure I can! I'll see you! Bye"

Jongho nodded and closed the door as quietly as possible. Yeosang, too, turned his back and was biting his lip so hard. He found it so cute how Jongho loves his cat so much, he'd do almost anything for her. The blonde flops down onto his own bed and giggles. He never giggled like that for a while. And it felt sort of strange but also felt good to let that out. He sighed and sat up, strumming his guitar. He had put away the wires to the amplifier. Looks like he won't be disturbing neighbours no more. And clearly, he does have a favourite, too.

Jongho pulled a hoodie over himself. He put on his Chuck Taylors and was headed out with his gray duffel bag, when he bumps into Yeosang, who was closing his apartment door shut. The both of them made eye contact and Yeosang stuttered, "Hey– I mean, morning!"

"Good morning to you too, Yeosang," Jongho gave him a smile and looked down to see Yeosang nervously holding onto the strap of his guitar case, "Going for your gig today?"

"Yeah, haha... Oh right, did you.. like the cake?" Yeosang grinned, surprised that the ravenette actually remembered that information of him attending gigs.

"The cake? It was crazy delicious. You'd make an awesome baker. Now I'd know who to go to when I want desserts" Yeosang nearly giggled at the compliment and then cleared his throat, the awkward tension between them rising. ‘Make the first move Jongho. Talk! Converse!’, Jongho monologued. He then broke the silence by asking, "So, you're having your gig at a cafe, am i right?"

"Yeah! Yeah... It's at.. Kim's Cafe. I'm not saying that because you're interested- no, you might be interested but I figured you didn't know where the nearest cafe was so- i'm also not assuming you don't know but.. just in case an–" Jongho puts a finger on his lip and chuckled,

"You're a nervous wreck. Little anxious for the gig?"

"…Mhm, yeah actually. Just a little", Yeosang lied. He was utterly fucked.

"Don't worry. I'll be there to root for you"

"Thank– Wait, you're going?Extra fucked.

"Of course. Let's go, shall we?"

Oh god I am going to flunk this! I'm going to make the worst first impression on him!’, Yeosang thought, biting his bottom lip. Extra EXTRA fucked.

As they strolled to the cafe together, Jongho looked to his left where Yeosang was walking alongside. "So, since when have you been into.. playing an electric guitar?"

"Quite long, actually. Ever since I was a kid. I used to think it was impossible to do it. But I tried and got to it eventually. Parents weren't so supportive but they tried I guess. I'm only earning a living by doing gigs whenever it's available. Good thing I actually get paid for doing this sort of thing" Yeosang explained.

"You're awesome. I tried handling an electric guitar and I ended up smashing it because.. that's what I saw at some rock concerts when I was younger" Jongho chuckled. Yeosang laughed, "So, did you play any instruments?"

"Right now, I can play the acoustic guitar and piano. I can't play any other instrument but I can sing though"

"You sing and play the piano?"

"Of course. What? You thought I was just an ordinary gym freak?" Jongho chuckled.

"N-no! Of course not! Not after knowing that you own a cat and all.."

"Right" Jongho mumbled, kind of embarrassed that someone knows that he owns a cat. He knows it's nothing to be sheepish about but yet, he still feels that way. When they made their way into the cafe, Yeosang earns a few "good morning"s from the customers. Jongho presumed that they were the usual customers and they had probably seen Yeosang often. "Been here a lot?" Jongho inquired.

"Why, obviously" Yeosang hummed, smiling at every one of them and bowing. ‘He's polite’, thought Jongho. The blonde brought Jongho to a seat near the small stage where he can see Yeosang. "I'll go buy a coffee while I wait for your turn. Good luck!" Jongho rooted for him.

"Thank you.. I'm performing two songs so if anything urgent comes up for you, you can just leave, it's alright"

"No, no, I've got nothing to do this morning! Like, at all. So, maybe I can return to the apartment with you once you're done"

Yeosang nodded and went on standby in a different room, tuning his guitar. In the meantime, there was a different performer on stage at the moment. A band, in fact. Just two people. One was a drummer and the other was a guitarist and vocalist. They were very close to finishing.

Once they did, the guitarist took the mic and bowed, greeting, "Thank you. This was Young K and Dowoon!" Everyone applauded and cheered. It had been a while since Jongho had experienced this atmosphere. No, he has never seen this atmosphere at all. His previous neighbourhood was so dead, no one would even hold block parties. There were no cafes like this and he enjoyed the current vibe. Perhaps he made the right decision to come here after all.

Yeosang gulped and nodded to the technician, who started playing the vocal backing track. Yeosang plugged the amplifier to his guitar and began playing a chord. The voice in the backing track wasn't his but the original artist's. Jongho paid full attention to the blonde, observing the way his fingers change positions and how his eyebrows furrowed, monitoring his finger placement cautiously. With each graceful strum of a chord, he plays it beautifully. This went on for a few good minutes and Yeosang was exhausted by the time it ended. He received cheers for his amazing guitar playing though. It was well deserved.

Yeosang removed the guitar off by the strap on his shoulder and settled on the seat next to Jongho. "Phew, that was intense. My fingers got real clammy there" Yeosang chuckled anxiously, afraid of what impression he had left on Jongho.

"You were real great back there. I could listen all day" Jongho grinned, seeing a delighted Yeosang. "You're serious?"

"Yeah, I am!" Jongho took his cup of remaining iced americano and downed it in one go. He smiled at the bitter taste and complimented the cafe's americano for being one of the best.

"Honestly, how do you drink that? I can't even drink anything without sugar.." Yeosang mumbled, grimacing at the finished cup of americano. "I don't like sweet stuff. Your cakes are an exception. I guess we're different in many ways"

"Not really. I like cats too! I'd really really want to meet yours one day" Yeosang tapped on his own hand, taking off the hair tie from it and one leg shaking. Jongho noticed his behaviour and said, "You don't have to be nervous around me. And yeah, come around next time, Yoon would love you!"

"He would..?"

"She, actually" Jongho chuckled. Yeosang slapped himself mentally. 'Of course, it's a girl's name!', he thought. Suddenly, he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket and he nearly yelled. He slipped it out and checked it.

wooyoung

Yeosang's eyes widened and he typed furiously.

yeosang

yeosang

you should've told me before coming, what the fuck?

i never get a heads up!

i'll be there quick

Jongho raised a brow at the quick typing. Yeosang huffed and packed everything, zipping his electric guitar up in its case and slinging it over his shoulder. "I'm so sorry, Jongho, I really have to head back because my friends came over without warning.. Are you gonna come?"

"Oh, I was gonna get another americano to drink for working out later. You can go!"

"Thank you, I'm so sorry, really.." He apologised yet again. "It's no biggie!" Yeosang ran out and shoved his phone in his pocket. Jongho was going to get up and order another americano when he realised something on the table. It was a black hair tie. It was Yeosang's. "Yeosang! You... Oh" He trailed off, realising that he had already left in the speed of light. He sighed and put the hair tie around his wrist. 'I guess I'll return it to him later on' thought Jongho.

Jongho felt a tap on his shoulder and turned to see that it was the cafe owner that had astonishing full white hair. "Hi, I'm Kim Hongjoong. I heard you're Yeosang's new neighbour?", the man by the name of Hongjoong questioned, "If so, could you please give this to him? It was supposed to be his pay for today but he was in such a rush that I couldn't even hand it over to him.. I trust you with it. Don't, I repeat, don't even think about stealing it". The white haired handed him an envelope that was sealed tightly. It was thin so he figured that it was a cheque. He nodded and kept it in his bag with care.

"Of course! By the way, can I.. uh, get another iced americano? It's really good" the ravenette scratched the nape of his neck. "Why, thank you. One iced americano coming right up!"

Yeosang stopped rushing for his life. He unlocked his apartment door for his friends and immediately flopped onto the couch, groaning. Wooyoung and Seonghwa sat on each of his side and watched. "Hey, your gig ended anyway so why're you so upset?" Seonghwa curiously asked, putting his own tote bag aside.

"I was busy talking with Jongho! And you guys just had to–"

"Who the fuck is Jongho?" Wooyoung frowned, unfamiliar of the new name.

"He's my new neighbour in 1002. He's an absolute gym freak. Like, very. He's so ripped that I can't stop looking at his fucking pecs through that tank top yesterday" Yeosang cursed, gripping at his hair.

"You can't be serious. No gym freak would talk to you. Besides, he could just be a little muscular but you're just exaggerating" Wooyoung snorted, receiving a smack on the head from the older. "And you can't just assume things like that! We were having a great time and you ruined it! I didn't even ask for his number!"

"Calm down, satan. You guys live side by side, you don't need to worry about whether you get his number or not" Seonghwa reasoned.

"But still..!" Yeosang's endless whining was annoying his friends to the core. They spent their day together by baking stuff and watching movies. That was until realisation hit Yeosang in the midst of watching a movie. He fished out his phone and quickly searched for the contact name. Hongjoong. He texted aggressively. He had just remembered his paycheck for today and it took him, what, half the day to finally realise that?

yeosang

HONGJOONG

i forgot my paycheck today, i'm so sorry

hongjoong

"What's wrong?" Seonghwa asked. "I forgot my pay today.. Ugh, fuck me. Hongjoong told me that he got my neighbour to return it to me. By the way, Hongjoong said hi to you, hyung" Seonghwa blushed while Wooyoung rambled.

"What if he steals your money, asshol–!" Then at that right moment, the doorbell rang, followed by the ding of the oven and Wooyoung and Seonghwa turned their heads, Wooyoung getting up to check the door with Yeosang. Seonghwa, on the other hand, went to get the baked goods out of the oven. The blonde opened the door slowly, revealing a familiar figure. It was Jongho. He was in a white tank top that seemed a little too drenched for his own good and a small towel was hung over his shoulders. The pectoral muscles were almost so visible and his neck and chin was dripping in sweat. Yeosang swore that the ravenette was wearing a hoodie this morning. He was..wasn't he? He gulped nervously and opened the door wide. "Hey, Yeosang. You forgot your pay today... And you also forgot," Jongho paused, holding out an envelope and his wrist that had the hair tie, "this."

Yeosang looked in surprise and gently took the items away from him. Wooyoung and Seonghwa could not believe the sight in front of them. "Thank you, Jongho.. It was really clumsy of me to forget my own things. I promise it won't happen again, really" Yeosang guiltily said.

"I won't mind if it does, honestly. I'm a little.. sweaty right now. Sorry, I was just working out earlier on... So I'll just go back and take a shower. I'll see you tomorrow" Jongho smiled, giving a tiny, yet charming, wave goodbye. Yeosang gave an awkward smile, closing the door in the process. Once the door was shut, he let out a sigh of relief that he didn't realise he had been holding in. "Holy shit, you weren't kidding. That guy is fucking ripped" Wooyoung laughed. "I told you. Never lied."

"So you're just.. talking to him right now?" Seonghwa asked, helping Yeosang count his money just in case.

"Yeah? He's just been here for a day, did you want us to go on a date or something?"

"Yolo" Wooyoung clapped back, sitting back down on the couch and eating the cupcake he had baked earlier on. "That's what I say!" Yeosang rolled his eyes and took his guitar. Wooyoung eyed the purple, shiny, instrument and propped himself up, "Yeosang, by any chance, could we do a gig together with you?"

"No, absolutely not. Go find somewhere else to do a gig, I'm not sharing my pay with anyone! Besides, the both of you are already working and are well paid. What would you want to do a gig for?" Yeosang looked at the hair tie on his wrist, that was once on Jongho's.

"You know what, it's fine. And why are you looking at that hair tie while I'm talking anyways"

"Can’t I look elsewhere while you're talking?"

"It's rude. And it's not that anyway. Ever since Jongho removed that hair tie from his wrist and gave it to you, you seem to stare at it even more. What? Are you thinking if his sweat got to your hair tie?" Wooyoung wiggled his brows. Seonghwa frowned at him and slapped his arm. "Stop having such weird thoughts, you ass or I'll beat you silly"

Yeosang nearly exploded. He didn't think of that. Oh lord but now that Wooyoung mentioned it, he really wonders. But damn, was it creepy to have thoughts like those. Just then, the youngest of the three puts his cupcake down on the coffee table. Wooyoung's hands gripped Yeosang's shoulders, looking at him with a determined gaze. "Kang Yeosang. Go out there and ask him if you can come over tomorrow"

"Should I?"

"Duh! I said so! So don't be a pussy, get your balls together and ask! Though you are kind of a twink, so probably boy pussy, but anyway" Wooyoung demanded, followed by Seonghwa who just nodded aggressively behind him. The blonde hesitated for a long while, eventually giving up in defeat and spat, "Fuck you, Jung fucking Wooyoung. I am not a twink. I've got an average dick and body. But fine. I'll do it"

...

"Yoon, please? Not right now, daddy needs to shower first okay?" Jongho pulled the cat off him and carried her like a baby, kissing her head. He gently put her down and headed for the shower. As he grabbed his towel for the shower, he got rid of all the clothes that had been drenched in his sweat and turned on the shower head. He sighed as the cold water fell onto his body like a waterfall. He shampooed his hair thoroughly and scrubbed his body.

Once he was finished, he wrapped the big towel around his waist and a smaller towel hung over his shoulders for drying off his hair. He looked at himself in the mirror and he was going to wash his face when..

Ding dong

That was...unexpected. He couldn't possibly change in less than a minute. What if the person at the door has an urgent matter? Possibly not since he just got here. But what if, though? Fuck. Jongho didn't need to think twice and went straight to the door, opening it. Well shit, he didn't expect Yeosang to be there. Yeosang froze at the spot, scanning the situation and his face burning red.

"Y-Yeosang! Are you alright? Your face is so red! Do you need me for something? Should I buy you medicine?"

"N-no, what?! It's not that!"

"Oh thank goodness..."

"Sorry about that... I just wanted to ask.. if I could come over tomorrow? After m-my gig?" He mentally cursed at himself for stuttering. "Oh. Oh! Oh, you want to come over? Of course!! I can tag along with you to your gig again if you'd like. I'm heading for the gym at night so you could hang with me until the afternoon?"

Yeosang was stunned. Jongho really didn't mind having this metalhead idiot—who nearly busted his and Yoon's eardrums—inside his home? He was in utter disbelief. "Are you really sure?" Yeosang confirmed again.

"Do I sound like I'm joking?" He chuckled, the towel that was used to dry his hair was now just hanging off his shoulder. Yeosang processed the view in front of him and spoke again, "I-I'm sorry for...looking, I think I disrupted your shower.."

"No, no, not at all! I just finished and you happened to be at the door so.. uh it's uh, yeah, that's about it" Jongho scratched his neck as he explained.

'It's been only two days of meeting this dude and he's already exposing his well defined chest, I am not ready for this' thought Yeosang.

"I'll see you tomorrow?" Jongho raised a brow. "Yeah!! See you!" Yeosang waved and the ravenette gave the cheesiest wink. As soon as the door was shut, Yeosang jumped up and down and punched his fist in the air in victory. He barged back into his own apartment and planted his face into the couch, screaming into it but it comes out as muffled noises. Wooyoung and Seonghwa look at each other and back at Yeosang. When he was finished with his small freak out, Wooyoung finally said, "We take that as he agreed?"

"Fuck yes! I love you both so much! I'll be sleeping at night feeling happy now!" Yeosang happily said, a smile etched onto his face and his finger twirling his blonde mullet and playing with it.

"Woah, you've never smiled that big before" Seonghwa pointed out. "What? What are you talking about?"

"You've never been that happy. This is a miracle. And you're even fidgeting with your hair... That has got to be the gayest thing I've seen you done"

"Yeah I bet you take it as a blessing that you get to see my 'I've got a big fat crush on someone' face" Yeosang sarcastically answered, his personality switching ever so quickly in the blink of an eye and he got up to eat some snacks from the cupboard. "Hey, there are cupcakes. What are you rummaging in your cupboard for?" Wooyoung complained.

"My house, Wooyoung. You don't make the rules here" Yeosang scoffed, grabbing a bag of chips. He ate those and then ate a cupcake afterwards. Seonghwa just looked at him and laughed, "You're a monster"

"Yes, I fucking am. And I'm not any lesser than this loser here"

"Shut your trap or I'll tackle you down to the floor"

"Nah uh! Seonghwa's gonna be pissed at you if you pull off some nonsensical fuckery here in my house, Woo"

Yeosang followed behind Jongho to his apartment home, a little anxious. Jongho looked behind and halted. Yeosang looked up at him. Confused, he asked, "What's wrong?" Jongho smiled a little and dragged him beside him. "Walk next to me. I feel weird with you trailing behind me" Jongho laughed. The blonde swore that he could literally die inside at that moment. But he goes through it and just apologised out of habit. Jongho shook his head, saying it was fine and that he just didn't want Yeosang to feel uncomfortable.

Before Yeosang could fall into awkward silence, luck was on his side and they had already arrived at the ravenette's apartment. Jongho unlocked it and was welcomed by his feline friend jumping up almost immediately into his arms. Jongho wasn't surprised, except for the other. The ravenette held his cat like a baby and greeted her, "Hi, princess! I'm back! Look who we have here!"

Jongho showed Yoon to Yeosang and the blonde swore he fell in love instantly. The cat was a calico. And he loved calicos. He let Yoon sniff his finger. Afterwards, Jongho and Yeosang sat down on the couch, the blonde and Yoon bonding together for a short while. Once Yoon opened up to him, she crawled out of Jongho's hold to sit in Yeosang's lap. "O-oh" Yeosang mumbled, gently petting her.

"She seems to like you, Yeosang" Jongho grinned, scratching Yoon's chin and kissing her head. "I'll make us some food. You can play with Yoon in the meantime"

"You cook?"

"Do I not seem like I do? I guess I do kind of look like the type to buy store bought food.." Jongho scratched the nape of his neck and his eyes formed into crescents. Yeosang seemed enthralled by them. It was cute. "No! Goddamnit, I just.. You know, please don't take it as an insult"

"No biggie, really. I could smell your baking yesterday. After having a taste of that shortcake, I was wondering if we could bake together sometime. You could teach me how to do that and I'll teach you how to cook?" Jongho looked over his shoulder. Yeosang's heart skipped a beat and his throat went as dry as the sahara desert.

"Yeah.. yeah!! Good idea! How about uh, Tuesday?"

"Sounds great" Jongho agreed and went on to cook up something. Yeosang heaved a sigh of relief and look at Yoon, whispering, "Pretend you never heard my heart beating. Do not ever tell that to your daddy. No. Never" It was pretty cute to Jongho. And how did he know? Well, first of all, the kitchen isn't that far from the living room. He could kind of hear him. Yeosang was dumb, he had to admit. Dumb. But adorable. Jongho's favourite kind of people.

When Jongho was finished, he set it on the table and picked up Yoon, locking her up in his bedroom so that she wouldn't disrupt their mealtime. He sat next to Yeosang and turned on the television. "So, what do you do? Other than go to the gym, obviously" Yeosang asked, digging into his food. His eyes widened at how delicious it was and he moaned in delight. "I actually am a PT but I'm trying to apply at another gym since I've moved. That's still gym-related, isn't it?" Jongho chuckled at Yeosang's reaction to the food.

"Oh, you're serious? You're a personal trainer?"

"Mhm. I get paid a lot even for part time. So right now, I just go to the gym after watching your gigs. Perhaps that might be my daily routine for the moment" Jongho smiled. The blonde nearly dropped his fork and he just casually continued eating. Knowing he had a bad hand tremor, he cursed at himself. Jongho's gaze dropped to the other's hand and back to his eyes. "Well, other than all that, I did take up music. It's my favourite thing to do"

"Really? What'd you do?" Yeosang curiously inquired.

"Mostly the piano and acoustic guitar, like I’ve told you. I also had a studio once with my friend, Mingi. We would produce songs and study together. Now that I've grown up, I decided to move here after thinking long and hard enough"

"So.. you're not pursuing anything at the moment? Like, instead of being a PT?"

"Maybe a music teacher. Since I've got the required skill to teach" Jongho explained, finishing his bacons quite quickly. They talked like that for a few more minutes before being done with their meals. Yeosang was about to stand up to wash his plate when Jongho pulled him back down, taking his plate. "Uh, I'm washing that for you"

"Wait– Let me help you, please? It's the least I can do to thank you for the amazing food" Yeosang begged, hands clasped and his lips forming into a pout. Jongho had never seen someone so desperate to offer help before. So he chuckled and gave him the plates. While Yeosang went to wash the dishes, Jongho unlocked his bedroom door and let Yoon out. Shortly after, he joined Yeosang in the kitchen and stood beside him, watching him wash the plates. As he stood, he observed Yeosang. He squeezes the soap onto the sponge, scrubbing the plates and rinsing it thoroughly while he used the washing gloves. The blonde noticed him and smiled, "What's up?"

"Nothing. You're just very nice. You always repay me back even when I never asked you to", Jongho said, referring to the shortcake and the moment right now.

"Hey, it was only two times... You're a little cheesy aren't you?"

"Maybe I am" Jongho laughed and helped the blonde put the plates as well as the cutleries on the drying rack. "There, I'm done. I gotta go now. So, see you Tuesday?" Yeosang takes the gloves off, standing in front of Jongho. "Mhm. See you"

...

Yeosang squealed and immediately got his phone out, initiating a video call with Seonghwa and Wooyoung. It's not everyday he does that, for an introverted ass. But he was just so eager to tell about his accomplishment. They picked up the call after a few seconds, Wooyoung laying in his bed and Seonghwa propping up his phone against an object while he washes the dishes. "What'd you call for? Is it good news?" Seonghwa asked, eyes focused on the plates.

"Duh. I hung out at Jongho's just now and guess what?"

"What? Did he kiss you?" Wooyoung excitedly made a wild but inappropriate guess. "What makes you think we'd kiss? I just met him. He told me to come over again so that he'd teach me how to cook and I can teach him how to bake!" Yeosang's feet kicked on the bed vigorously, squealing even harder.

"Gosh, Yeosang. You've never fanboyed this hard except when you see your favourite bands coming to town" Seonghwa pointed out, yet again.

"Is it bad...?" Yeosang genuinely asked, concerned for himself. "It's not bad. It's a good thing. You're finally beginning to feel something for someone other than your celebrity crushes. Like, this is an actual gay crush, do you realise that?"

Getting encouraged by Seonghwa felt great.

"Hyung, do you think I can do it? Like, get close to him? He's a very nice guy. I just want to take my chances but you know how I'm like" Yeosang pouted. "Of course you can, dumbass. If you believe in yourself enough instead of doubting yourself, maybe it'll work" his friend who was laying on the bed through the call answered. He wasn't wrong.

"But remember, small steps. Unlike Wooyoung" Seonghwa scoffed and received a scowl from Wooyoung, in which he didn't listen to and eventually had finished washing his dishes. "Look, Yeosang. If you ever need any help, you can always look for us. We'll be rooting for you!" Seonghwa said as he picked up his phone. "Thank you, guys"

Seonghwa had to be somewhere at the moment and Wooyoung wanted to sleep real badly so they hung up the call and proceeded with their normal life. Yeosang looked at his guitar and picked it up, caressing the body and trailing his finger from top to bottom. 'Believe in myself, Don't doubt myself' Yeosang reminded himself of Wooyoung's words.

"Oh, fuck, I am so sorry for taking ages to get to the door. I really just wanted to get ready instead of being half naked like that one time" Jongho facepalmed himself while Yoon was nuzzled on his neck. ‘Continue conversing, dumbass’, Jongho thought to himself. He let Yeosang enter and the blonde mumbled, "I wouldn't mind, really" Jongho could hear that and he looked at him with surprise.

"I'm sorry, was that.. did you hear that? Forget what I said" Yeosang waved a hand back and forth, ears red from embarrassment. Jongho laughed, placed Yoon in the bedroom and went inside the kitchen with him. They were going to teach each other how to cook and bake. Jongho had got a new apron just for Yeosang. He wore his first and Yeosang looked at his own apron, blinking. The ravenette followed his eyes, asking, "What is it?"

"Nothing. I just.. don't usually use aprons when I bake and I get my shirt dirty" Yeosang chuckled, putting on his apron. The string on his back needed to be tied up and Yeosang was struggling, fiddling with the strings. So Jongho stood behind him and took the strings from his hold and chuckled, "Messy baker.. Let me help you with that". Something about that made Yeosang's heart flutter.

He pulled Yeosang closer to him by the strings and tightened the ribbon, the blonde's back just a few centimetres from Jongho's chest. When it was tight enough, Jongho asked, "Is that okay? Is it too tight?"

"N-No, it's perfect. Thank you" Yeosang hid his face in his palm and looked elsewhere, hoping that the burn on his face disappears anytime sooner.

And it didn't. As they were cooking first, Yeosang made many mistakes and after every one of them, he got the heartiest laugh out of Jongho. The never ending teasing from him made the blonde pout a lot. And Jongho doesn't realise it but when he sees Yeosang do that, he'd unconsciously say, "cute" or "adorable". As a result, the speck of red was left permanent on his face throughout their whole session together. Their finished dish was pasta. Something simple. Though Yeosang thought that his was slightly bland, he was satisfied with what he created. As they ate, Jongho threw short glances towards Yeosang. "What is it?" he asked, finishing his pasta. Jongho chuckled and grabbed a tissue, holding his chin and dabbing at the bottom of it. "I didn't know pretty boys were messy eaters" Jongho smiled broadly, letting go of Yeosang's chin once he was finished cleaning. The blonde babbled incoherently and ended up saying, "I am not pretty!"

"I refuse to agree. Alright, we don't have much time left for baking.. So, can I come over to your place tomorrow to bake?" Jongho suggested. Yeosang froze. Oh gosh. His neighbour, who he has a big fat crush on, is coming over. He tucked a strand of hair behind his ear and responded, voice cracking at the end, "Yeah! Sure! I'll see you. Thank you for today... I've never done such a thing in my life before, honestly"

"You're welcome" Jongho gazed, Yoon suddenly coming between them and meowing desperately for pats.

Two weeks later

Jongho entered the cafe and was instantly greeted by a shorter boy hugging him and snuffing his face in his chest. "You came! I thought you had something going on and couldn't come to see my gig.." Yeosang worriedly told him. Jongho chuckled and brushed Yeosang's hair, "I'm sorry, I overslept! I had a rough night yesterday.." Yeosang tilted his head to the side. Personal life, yes, Yeosang knew about Jongho's personal life but he didn't really know much about Jongho's personal problems. So he brought him over to the nearest seat and sat next to him.

"Rough..? Are you.. alright?" Yeosang lowered his voice, trying not to talk about his problems too openly. "Well. I can't say I'm alright. I'd be a lying fuck. It's just...I really need a new job because being a PT trainer is troublesome. I mean, I'm okay with heading to the gym but waiting for latecomers not just once but several times is annoying! Plus, the salary is decreasing bit by bit. It isn't consistent at all."

Yeosang's face scrunched, thinking as Jongho gazed at him longingly. "Say... Hongjoong is hiring some baristas. He really needs some new recruits. You could get free americano" Yeosang wiggled his eyebrows.

"Seriously? How come I didn't know about this?"

"No one does yet! He'll be putting up posters soon. I'm letting you know early so you get your chance" Yeosang smiled. Jongho let out a chuckle and hugged his friend. He murmured a thank you and Yeosang just nodded. "Go get 'em, Grizzly bear"

"Seriously?" Jongho chortled.

"Well, yeah. What? Don't you like it?"

"Just call me Jongho, Sang.." Jongho laughed and the guitarist jabbed him playfully in the ribs. After a while, Yeosang walked up to the counter to order a drink from Hongjoong. "One iced americano", he said.

"...", there was silence as Hongjoong paused himself from tapping the order screen.

"Aren't you gonna.. take the order? Why are you just pausing like that–"

"–That's all? You don't even drink americano"

"I don't but Jongho does. And yeah, that's all. Here's the cash. Thanks hyung, love you, see you, serve it to our table at the front!"  Yeosang winked and skipped back to his now best friend, Choi Jongho. Hongjoong scoffed and murmured, "Ungrateful brat. The things he does for someone he likes". With that, he rolled his eyes and continued with business as the two were seen having a heart to heart talk. Once he had finished the brewing of the americano, he poured it into a cup full of ice and shook it before bringing it over to their table.

"One iced americano", he announced, placing it down in front of Jongho as he quickly returns to the counter to watch the two of them. The ravenette stared intently at the cup of americano, then at Yeosang and he points a finger at himself.

"For me?", he raised a brow. With a giggle, Yeosang nodded and picked up the cup, the straw nearing Jongho's lips. "Drink up, teddy bear"

"I think I like that more than Grizzly Bear" Jongho chuckled, drinking from the straw and then holding the cup himself. "You gonna go to the gym today?"

"Mmm...I should take a break today. Can we watch movies at yours?"

"Of course. I'll make you popcorn!" Yeosang promises, holding out his pinky and Jongho locking it with his own in return. Just then, Seonghwa walks into the cafe. "Oh, hi hyung!", Yeosang greeted.

"Hey!" Seonghwa chirped. He walks on and stops at the stools in front of the counter. Hongjoong straightened himself out, dusting his apron and he cleared his throat. Seconds before that, he was fixing his white hair that had been slicked back that day. The pink haired in front of him then takes a seat and shyly leans over, "Hey"

"Hi, Hwa. How..How has your day been?"

"Great! It's my day off today. Being a lawyer is hard.." Seonghwa gave a tired smile. A smile that he always puts on, no matter the state he is in. The white haired blinked and then played with his fingers, "Your usual then? You want me to make it sweeter?"

"You know me so well, Joong", he chuckled, looking down in embarrassment.

"Of course I know my strawberry very well" Hongjoong teased. Seonghwa loved being called a strawberry and he likes it even more when it's the white haired man in front of him saying it. “Your hair looks good today. You should style it like this more often”

“Oh. Do you.. like it?

“Mhm. I love it”, Seonghwa leaned closer and brushed his fingers over it. Hongjoong smiled and tilted his head slightly, “Thank you”.

“I’m more than welcome”

A month later

Jongho and Yeosang had the same routine for a while now. Going for the gig, Jongho does his workout, Yeosang goes home and they have their cooking and baking lessons together when they're free. And instead of cooking and baking classes, they've slowly moved to hanging out outside together. They even exchanged numbers at some point of time. Before that, they didn't feel like they needed to text each other because of how close they were.

On their first actual hangout, they went to a thrift shop where Yeosang had always wanted to buy new clothes from. He's a cheapskate and he'd look good in almost anything, anyway. And he knows it too. Yeosang usually liked to dress in either an artsy or 2000s kid style. It was his kind of thing. Jongho was neutral so he'd just help Yeosang pick out stuff he would look good in. And to the blonde's surprise, the other had a pretty great taste in fashion but he just didn't understand why Jongho wouldn't want to put it to use. Wearing cargo pants or sweatpants together with a tank top or either a different shirt was like his signature outfit. Not that Yeosang was complaining. He looked hot either way. But it was getting boring.

After that, they had gone over to the oldest of the two's apartment. There, Yeosang tried on his outfits and damn, did he look gorgeous as fuck. Jongho's eyes couldn't stop glittering with glee as he watched the other twirl in any outfit he puts on. He even learnt one more thing he learned about the blonde. He didn't know Yeosang cross dressed and he found him so adorable in all the skirts and long dresses he wore. "If we go out together, can you please wear any of these? I just want to show off how amazing you look in front of the whole world", he murmured unconsciously.

"Huh? Oh, really..? Y-yeah, sure!" Yeosang covered his face and ran back inside his room to change.

On their next hangout, Jongho brought Yeosang to a very beautiful forest, where it wasn't so quiet but nor was it too noisy. They had a picnic there and talked about everything. How their day went, how they felt about the place and mostly about their personal stuff. But Yeosang noticed how Jongho kept stretching his back. Jongho ended up sighing in exasperation and laying down in Yeosang's lap. “You alright?”, Yeosang asked, trying not to let his furiously palpitating heart get the best of him.

“Well, now that I’m with you, I think I am”, he grinned up at Yeosang and then gazed up at the trees surrounding them.

The rest of their so called hangouts were history.

And right now, at this moment, Yeosang was with his friends in his apartment.

"Are you fucking serious! You haven't confessed yet?" Wooyoung shook him by the shoulders. Yeosang felt dizzy and pushed Wooyoung off, saying, "I will! I promise! I was just waiting it out to see if he's showing any signs. And..I think he likes me too"

For the past few weeks, Jongho has been complimenting him a lot, praising him more and he got more physical with him.

"Don't get your hopes up too high... He might be straight for all you know. Liking a straight dude might hurt your feelings real bad"

"Jung Wooyoung, don't you jinx that. And don't be a dick, would you? First, you want him to confess and the next second, you doubt it! Yeosang is our friend. You should be encouraging him! What happened to making Yeosang believe in himself, for pete's sake..." Seonghwa scolded him.

"I'm just warning him! Sorry.." Wooyoung sulked and Yeosang shook his head. "Anyways, I wanted to tell you guys that I'm going to his house for.. for a movie night. So maybe I'll try to...tell him? Maybe..?" Yeosang played with his hands, a little anxious. Seonghwa patted his back as a gesture of encouragement. He gave the 'you can do anything' look and kissed the top of Yeosang's forehead. "Don't I get a kissy, mommy" Wooyoung playfully said, receiving a pillow thrown onto his face by Seonghwa.

Yeosang knocked on the door, holding a blanket with him and his phone. He was greeted by Jongho who was scanning him up and down. The ravenette noticed his oversized black shirt and the pyjama shorts. He was looked real comfortable. "You look really cuddly right now" Jongho grinned. "I do?" Yeosang scratched his head, receiving a nod from the other. As he entered, Jongho sat next to him on the couch, saying, "Scooch over, prince". He was then playing a movie he had already chosen. Popcorn was already prepared and they shared from the same bowl. When Yeosang watched the opening, he gasped, "Did you pick a horror movie?! I thought you knew I hated those!"

"I do know that! But movies are not movies if there's no horror!" Jongho reasoned with him. Yeosang whimpered and sank in his blanket. He wasn't a fan of random jumpscares and realistic ghosts or creatures. Technology and makeup was getting too advanced these days... And he didn't like it. While they sat there comfortably (probably not Yeosang) , Yeosang randomly questioned, "Where's Yoon?"

"Oh, she's sleeping in the room. Sort of exhausted from being lazy" He sarcastically remarked. That's when a scream erupted from the big screen and Yeosang got startled, a little bit of popcorn flying as he tugged on Jongho's arm like his whole life depended on it. Jongho burst out laughing at him instead of flinching. "It's not funny!" Yeosang kicked his leg over and over. "Okay, okay! Sorry!" Jongho put a hand on his thigh and the blonde immediately stopped, beating his arm instead. "You're a meanie" Yeosang sulked, stuffing a popcorn in Jongho's mouth.

"Not my fault that you look cute when you get scared, in all honesty" Jongho chortled, swallowing the popcorn and popping another one into the other's mouth. Yeosang scoffed, chewing at the popcorn and looking back at the screen, trying his very best to avoid eye contact with Jongho because he was actually embarrassed from that statement. Halfway through the movie, Yeosang's blanket was over the two of them, huddled together. Technically, Yeosang's the one holding on tight to Jongho. The ravenette just found it endearing. As their eyes glued to the screen, there came a scene where the main character was making out with his boyfriend. The blonde felt slightly awkward. And so did Jongho.

"Is it just me or am I a little weirded out" Jongho whispered, looking at Yeosang. "You're not the only one"

"..."

"...Would you kiss anyone?" Yeosang's grip on Jongho's arm tightened.

"Oh, uh, that's random. Because I've never kissed anyone before. So.. I don't know"

"Would you kiss a girl..?"

"I don't know" Jongho chuckled, Yeosang getting closer to his face. "Would you kiss..a boy?"

"I.. don't know" There was silence for a short moment, until Yeosang broke it.

"...Would you kiss me?" Yeosang's lip twitched as he said that, face red and his eyes avoiding eye contact, looking down at the other's lips instead. Jongho gazed longingly, mouth gaping slightly and hesitating. He stared hard and noticed how unusually glossy Yeosang's lips seemed. Not that he always paid attention to his lips. He totally never did. That's when he answered softly, "Yeah". His hand gently grabbed Yeosang's jaw and their lips hesitatingly connected. They sank into each other's comfort, Yeosang giving him access into his mouth and their bodies flushed against each other. Jongho's brows furrowed as he passionately kissed him, the both of them breathing heavily as they broke it off.

".. You said you've never kissed before?" Yeosang chuckled, blushing at how good that felt.

"Yeah... Was that.. was that okay?"

"It was awesome.."

".. I'm sorry, I don't know if I should've done that or not-"

"N-no! Please, I don't regret it at all. It felt great"

"You.. think so?" Jongho chuckled, caressing his head. "Mhm..."

Jongho breathed shakily, a little bit nervous. He really didn't want to feel that way but Yeosang was making him feel this way. "Holy fuck, I've never felt this way" Jongho admitted, chuckling in Yeosang's ear. "Me neither. God, I feel super gay right now" Yeosang covered his blushing face.

".. I've been keeping it in for a while now. But I think I like you. Not just anyone...It's you." Jongho caressed his head and played with his ears. Yeosang took in the scent of the younger, practically breathing all of him in. "I do too" Yeosang whispered near against his lips, their gaze soft and they smiled. They instantly leaned in for a gentle make out session. Yeosang's hair was slightly tousled, just the way Jongho remembered him the very first time he laid eyes on him. "Be my boyfriend?" Jongho whispered playfully. The blonde nuzzled his head into the crook of his neck and nodded shyly. Jongho let out a soft victory cheer.

"I have fallen so hard for you the minute I saw you open your apartment door. How can you be so ethereal, Yeosang? It's a bit unbelievable sometimes. But I like to think that I just met an angel. And that angel is the sweetest, caring human I've fallen for"

"Holy fuck, you're cheesy!! But I like it" Yeosang snorted, burying his face deeper into his neck.

A few months pass and Jongho had finally quit being a PT. He still does maintain his muscles though. He got the job as a barista right after that and Yeosang had to admit, he made one of the best iced frappes so far. Just for him. Hongjoong almost grimaces at the romance he's witnessing but he doesn't complain as Yeosang brought Seonghwa along more often. Together with Wooyoung too of course.

"So, how was your day?" Jongho leaned against the counter for a kiss from his boyfriend. "Pretty great. By the way, this job was definitely made for you. You make the best drinks ever, Jjong" Yeosang leaned closer to pinch his cheek and kiss his lips.

"I do? Why, thank you, kind one" Jongho chuckled and patted his head.

Wooyoung watched the two and slammed his hands onto the table, "Man, I can't stand y'all anymore. I'm going to San"

"Sure, Wooyoung. See you around" Jongho waved and handed him the iced frappe he ordered. Wooyoung walked out the store and Seonghwa shook his head. "Kids these days am I right" Hongjoong snorted.

Seonghwa looked up from the table to see Hongjoong opposite of it, leaning forward to talk to him. Seonghwa smiled and nodded. Hongjoong cleared his throat and tugged at the collar of his white button up shirt that was tucked in his black slacks. "Well, I haven't.. seen you around in a while"

"Yeah. Sorry about that. But it looks like I'll be here more often because Yeosang's boyfriend, aka the new barista, makes some of the best coffee"

"He might be good. But nothing can beat mine" Hongjoong showed off jokingly and the pink haired chuckled at that. The white haired gulped and swiftly pulled out a small piece of paper. "You don't have to reply now. Take your time. I'll be here all day. Everyday" Hongjoong whispered. He goes back to the brewing machine to start on some orders.

Seonghwa bites his lower lip, anticipating what would be written in the piece of paper. After reading it, his eyes blink, then it glimmers happily. It wrote, 'Can we be boyfriends? I promise I will love you with my entire heart. You don’t have to answer today. But just give me a sign when you do have one :)’

He grins in pure happiness. "Hwa? I'll be going first. You coming?" Yeosang snaps him out of it. The pink haired gazed at him and said, "I think I'll stay here a little bit longer"

"Okay! See you tomorrow!". Seonghwa then turns to Hongjoong giving him a flirty look for a few good seconds and then telling the two baristas that he’d be in the restroom. The white haired then gulped, looking at Jongho and then instructing him to serve the drinks that he had just finished making. He then walks out the counter and to the restroom, where Seonghwa pulled him in. “Yes!” Seonghwa said.

“Oh, wait, you- We- You wanna..?”

“Yes. I wanna be boyfriends, Joong. I’ve waited so long for this! Oh my God, can we kiss?” Seonghwa throws his arms over Hongjoong’s shoulders. With no hesitation, their lips crashed without a single word.  The both of them have been waiting for this moment. And they finally got it. So they decide to drown themselves in it for a few moments. As they pulled away, Seonghwa’s face was almost as pink as his hair. Hongjoong’s fingers grazed over it and he compliments Seonghwa in every way possible.

“Thank you for wanting to love me, Kim Hongjoong”

“And I’d gladly do so in another universe as well”

Jongho just got off work and he was headed over to Yeosang's. Something about him was different today and he felt more exhilarated. Once Yeosang opened the door for him, he entered and shut the door, kissing Yeosang almost instantly. "Miss me already?" Yeosang chuckled, looking up at him. "Yeah, sorry" Jongho responded. They locked eyes and the blonde laughed. The ravenette dragged him into the living room and was connecting his phone to his bluetooth speaker. He swiped into the Spotify application and played Perfect by Ed Sheeran. Jongho held his hand out and Yeosang giggled,

"Jjong! You know I don't know how to dance! Well, ballroom dancing at the most.."

"It's okay. I'll teach you. Come", Jongho puts his hand on Yeosang's waist and his other hand holds Yeosang's. He placed the blonde's other hand onto his shoulder before that and finally, Yeosang followed the steps of his boyfriend. One, two, three, four. One, two, three, four. One –

"Oh, Mother of Jesus!", Jongho groaned as Yeosang stepped on his foot. "Jongho! I'm sorry, I lost step and–"

"Uh-uh. I'm okay. Just keep moving", Jongho shushed him and they continued, their eyes locked onto each other as they didn't think about the world for a moment. Their feet padded softly on the wooden pine floors as the phone on the white wooden dresser plays Jongho's favourite tune. A tune he listens to whenever he thinks of Yeosang.

Baby, I'm dancing in the dark

With you between my arms

Barefoot on the grass

Listening to our favourite song

When you said you looked a mess

I whispered underneath my breath

But you heard it

Darling, you look perfect tonight

At the exact same time with the last line, Jongho tucks Yeosang's hair behind his ear and he whispered, "Darling, you look perfect tonight". Yeosang swore he let out the girliest giggle ever and his head flops onto Jongho's chest in embarrassment. "Have I told you how much I love you?"

"No... Say it again", Yeosang teased.

"I love you, Yeosang~ I love you so much"

"I love you too, Jongho... Thank you.. because I've never had the chance to really fall in love. Even if we'd have to part ways at some point of time, my love for you goes on because I can't seem to let go of how much you cherish me. I think of you at every hour of the day. I'm very much smitten by you... And I can't undo that now, can I?", he smiled, giving a peck on his cheek. Jongho then moves towards the window together with Yeosang. The both of them gazed out at the street lights, the buildings and cars moving. "Yeosang?"

"Hm?"

"Would you have fallen in love with anyone else if I hadn't come up to your front door?"

Yeosang gave it some thought before he looked up at Jongho. "I would have. But just not as much as how I love you right now. Does that answer your question?". The ravenette grinned and kissed the forehead of his lover. He then nods and hugs Yeosang tightly.

“I’m glad you’re my neighbour”

“.. I’m glad, too”, Yeosang plays with the other’s black hair as he was still being engulfed in his incredibly heartwarming embrace. “Frappuccino?”, Jongho blurts out, holding out a paperback out of nowhere that consisted of a cup of cold frappuccino. The blonde smiled and took it, kissing him on the cheek.

“Thank you, Jjong~”, Yeosang pinched his cheek and shared the beverage together with him as they watch the busy night streets together by the windowsill.
