"Ahhh what the fuck!"
At Wooyoung's shout, Hongjoong looks up from his phone, craning his head to try and see out the sliding door. When he can’t see anything, he glances back down at his phone, figuring the younger just stubbed his toe or something.
"Hongjoong, there's something in your pool," Wooyoung continues.
"Is it another frog?" Hongjoong asks with a sigh, getting off the couch. He knows there’s no point in trying to get out of dealing with the issue, and he only grumbles a little as he kicks a few empty cans out of his way.
"No it's not a frog," Wooyoung says agitatedly. "Joong you have to come here."

When Wooyoung's sorry excuse of a mother overdoses on heroin, he's forced into the system at the age of 15, only three weeks into the school year. He's then placed with two men who have five other kids. FIVE. It's a lot to process for such a hormonal brain.
But the boy with the dark purple hair that's always in a hoodie immediately grabs his attention. Plus, when he realizes that this house is nothing like the horror stories of foster homes he'd heard, he just might realize that one day he'll love these people a lot more than he intended to.

(Based of a medical checkup I went through last week when I almost passed out while my blood was being taken, except I made it more dramatic because it's grian and I'm projecting onto him🤷♀️)

Summary
A strange call from the police station requesting Seonghwa to collect his recently deceased mother's belongings.
Seonghwa was an orphan, which raised his suspicion about the unknown woman's identity. Upon retrieving the woman's bag, he made contact with an ominous beaded bracelet. Then, unexplainable yet horrifying things occurred to him the following days—even the police showed up at his apartment, stating that he was suspected of being a murderer.
While escaping from the foreboding force that spooked him, Seonghwa bumped into his childhood friend, Kim Hongjoong, who had cut off his contract since high school.
Much to Seonghwa's bafflement, Hongjoong revealed that an evil spirit was haunting him.
