Transformers 2007: The Alternate Retelling

Summary:

This is an alternate retelling of the first Transformers that is somewhat a crossover with an OC of mine from Jurassic Park, but this one is its own thing. After the events of the movie prequel comics and some bit of Transformers: Bumblebee with slight alterations, Optimus and the Autobots finally arrive to Earth, in hopes of retrieving the AllSpark, a artifact that holds the power to create worlds and fill them with life, in hopes that they reach it before the Decepticons do.

Notes:

The OC Dallas is from Jurassic Park, but I decided to have her be a shape-shifting Tyrannosaurus rex just for the sake of the story so that she is like a war weary veteran fighting a war. She also looks up to Optimus Prime as sort of like a father figure to her to keep her aggression in check. And also for disclaimers, Dallas has post traumatic stress disorder from seeing a lot of death and carnage in her ten years of service protecting mankind only to get treated like garbage, which explains why she is cold and cynical of humans. And much like Optimus, she too was betrayed by someone she once called friend, leading to a civil war that lasted ten years before the Autobots ever arrived to Earth.

Chapter 1: Intro

Chapter Text

Suddenly, the voice of Optimus speaks, narrating the intro.

"Our planet was destroyed by the ravages of war: a war waged between the legions who worship chaos, and those of us, who follow and fought for freedom."

As the light grows, it illuminates an immense square mass. A Cube. Covered by the symbols and hieroglyphics and hurtling trough space.

OPTIMUS:

"We battled for rule of a great power, the AllSpark. Its origin is left unknown
to us, yet it bears the lifeforce that
created our race, holding the power to create worlds. And fill them with life. For a time. We lived in harmony, and our world, our once proud race, was torn apart, by war. A war that ravaged our planet for centuries until it was consumed by death. And the Cube, was lost into the far reaches of space, we scattered across the galaxy, hoping to find it and rebuild our home. Searching every star, every world."

The Cube plunges into a group of asteroids, and ever-so slightly, hits one of the rocks, and bounces in a new direction:

"Then, by chance or fate, its course was
altered, and just when all hope seemed lost, message to a new discovery, drew us to a unknown planet called
Earth."

The Cube then hurls towards a familiar blue marble. The only planet in the galaxy capable of sustaining life. The third planet from the Sun.

It enters Earth's atmosphere as it burned in entry.

"But we were already too late."
