06/23/2001 - Isla Sorna
The small private Plane landed in the heliport of the Islands old research Center.
The Door of the Plane slowly opened and a 30-year-old man got out.
"Jonathan, do you think it's a good idea?"- The pilot's voice came from inside the small machine and sounded anything but confident.
"I know what I'm doing Norbert, my Wife wanted an adventure trip and that's exactly what she's getting", replied the man named Jonathan with confidence.
"Jonathan, there was no one left on the Island...the locals call it the island of the death...we should return.you know...like in get the hell out of this place..there were also stories about the Dinosaurs that are said to still live here", replied the pilot Norbert sternly, nevertheless you could hear the nervousness in his voice more than clearly.
"The rumors have been extinct for ages, as if a dinosaur were still roaming freely around here somewhere. Lily, come on, I have your birthday present with me", Jonathan shouted, laughing and a little later a beautiful young woman, around 25 years old, appeared , with a little blond-haired baby in her Arms.
She carefully descended the steps of the private Plane and first looked at her husband, then at the surroundings.
"Jonathan... you flew here especially for me, to Isla Sorna", you could see how happy Lily was at this surprise.
"I would do anything for you dear...come on let's take a closer look", Jonathan replied, gave his wife his hand and smiled at his little Daughter.
"Jonathan, you're going to kill yourselves...you don't even have weapons! I'll come with you," said Norbert decidedly, grabbed a small Pistol and followed the couple with determination.
"Jona, I would love to see the Jungle," Lily gushed enthusiastically.
"Since there will be no more Animals here, we can do that, what can happen to us?"- without worrying too much, they took the next best route towards the Jungle.
Of course Norbert didn't have a good feeling about the whole Thing, he didn't want to let his friends and employers down.
"Couldn't you have left the baby in England...I know how much you love adventures Lily, but an island with old...scientific things...isn't a suitable place for a baby", Norbert interjected and looked worried the little one-year-old girl.
"Our Nanny didn't have time, besides, my little princess gets a much better impression like this...only mommy and daddy can afford such a great thing, take a close look at this beautiful place sweetheart", Lily said to her little daughter, while she walked deeper into the Jungle.
After another half hour of walking, the small group reached a kind of open space with a lot of gras, trees and if they would have looked closer....bones....from death Animals.... and Jonathan immediately took out his camera to snap a few Photos.
After all, he didn't believe in the local superstitions, and this surprise trip for his wife had cost him a lot of money.
"What a beautiful nature," Jonathan said contentedly and got a kiss on the cheek from his wife Lily.
"It's a great gift Jonah, I love it," Lily enthused.
"Did you hear that too?"- Norbert interjected nervously.
"You've heard too much of the locals' gossip, there was nothing", Jonathan replied harshly and wanted to go on.
"Ssssht! I can hear it...it sounds like branches snapping or so", Norbert growled and pushed the two of them to the next tree.
"Norbert, what do you want to achieve with this behavior!" - Lily got upset and didn't speak very quietly.
"Lily, please....", Norbert broke off his sentence when the cracking of the branches came closer and closer.
He squatted on the floor and kind of dragged his friends down with him. Lily set her baby down on the ground only to glare at the pilot.
"I don't go another step, if you don´t stop this stupid nonsense!"- Lily hissed at him and stood up. Jonathan had slowly heard the cracking and wanted to stop his wife, but by then it was too late.
Seconds later the young woman was surrounded by a group of raptors and they hissed at her.
"Jonah", Lily whispered in shock, staring at the dinosaurs in fear.
"Wait, I'll help you Lily", said Norbert, loaded his gun and aimed at the animals.
Luckily he missed, but this action was enough for the animals to growl at him and Lily.
"Leave her alone!", Jonathan screamed and wanted to throw himself protectively in front of his wife, but at that moment a raptor came from the side and snapped at the Man.
The others attacked Norbert and Lily.
A few well-aimed bites left all three adults injured and lying on the Ground. The raptors waited, not taking their eyes off the Strangers.
"E..e..I'm sorry Darling....", Jonathan breathed weakly.
"I warned you", said Norbert, who had been against this Trip from the start.
"Y...you wanted an adventure Lily...I wanted to fulfill it for you...your adventure trip dream...", Jonathan replied weakly and tried to stay conscious.
His wife said nothing more, the bites of the animals had been too strong.
But she realized that she had forgotten something. Her heart began to race in panic.
"Evelyn!", she brought out before she completely lost consciousness, as did Jonathan and Norbert. Then the Raptors started eating the three Adults.
Little Evelyn had been watching the time as a butterfly and was now looking in her direction where her parents had disappeared.
But there was no person anymore, the little girl was confused and scared.
She started crying softly and calling for her Parents.
At first she didn't notice that she was being watched by the Alpha animal of the raptor pack.
At some point, little Evelyn just cried and winced , when suddenly this big animal stood in front of her and looked at her with his amber-colored eyes.
A second animal came up to the first and nudged the little girl with its snout.
"Mo-my?", Evelyn's words were only spoken with sadness and helplessness, before she looked at the floor she was sitting on.
The two raptors hissed at each other before apparently making up their minds, because the alpha animal of the pack turned around and ran ahead.
The other animal, a female, nudged the little girl again at the head, before carefully taking it in her mouth by the collar of her Jacket and disappearing with her into the depths of the Isla Sorna Jungle.
