Eren shrunk before the man's cold gaze. His plan of staying late to suck up to the boss for a promotion was not starting off on the right foot. He stumbled upon his boss, Mr. Levi Ackerman, a manager at a Fortune 500 Company, in the process of embezzling funds.
"I won't tell anyone; I didn't see anything." Eren babbled while being sized up by his boss. His mind raced, coming up with all sorts of horrible scenarios that could happen to him. He could get fired, Mr. Ackerman could frame him, and he could go to jail; Mr. Ackerman could hire a hitman to get rid of any witnesses.
Instead of any of those scenarios happening, the only thing Mr. Ackerman said was "Good boy," and ushered him out of the office. The message was clear: this was a secret between the two of them.
When Eren returned home, all he could think about was how his boss was technically a criminal. He had always thought his boss was hot, but the fact that Mr. Ackerman was engaged in such a high-risk activity makes him infinitely hotter to Eren.
He wondered why Levi (he's started thinking of Mr. Ackerman by his first name) would want to steal money from the company. It's not like Levi was hurting for money, the management at that company was very well compensated.
Eren had found that going back to work like nothing happened doesn't work either. His boss’s elicit activities were always at the back of his mind, and he was becoming paranoid that if Levi's ever was caught, he himself would also be implicated because he knew something but never told anyone. On the flipside, the risk of being caught by proxy was quite thrilling.
Levi also started treating him slightly differently, Eren could swear that his boss was less harsh towards him than before. Eren tried to not act any differently towards his boss, but he was sure his fanboying was bleeding through.
Finally, after weeks of trying to ignore the elephant in the room, Eren once again stayed late. Eren had an idea in the back of his mind to confront Levi, to do what, he was not sure; he was just going to wing it and hoped that it didn't blow up in his face.
Levi seemed to be expecting him to do something, and he was not surprised at all that Eren finally decided to confront him. Eren thought the confrontation would be more aggressive, but they just ended up having a talk.
Levi ended up sharing his philosophy about why he was stealing from the company, as if trying to convince and/or recruit Eren to be his partner in crime. Eren thought it was definitely working.
"Another reason is that these rich assholes running things wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice you and me to line their pockets even more." Levi was saying "but most of all, stealing from the rich is much riskier than stealing from normal people."
"All this talk about stealing from the rich is getting me hot," Eren finally said, unable to help himself "want to fuck?"
"I thought you'd never ask." Levi replied with a smirk.
