“Hey, Hen just messaged. They are home and Karen is doing good”. Buck calls out to Eddie, who is currently grabbing Beer from the loft fridge. Originally, they were going to go for Eddie’s for movie night, but there was a freak power outage affecting his street so they relocated to Buck’s for a game night/Sleepover with Chris.
When he goes back in, he sees that they have a blanket (since Buck STILL had no couch) spread out, with pizza in the middle, along with a soda for Chris and game controllers spread out.
“Looks like scene from a movie where a family just moves in and have no furniture” Eddie mocks as he sits down next to Chris, passing a beer to Buck.
“Well luckily, I have an air mattress that you and Chris can sleep on.” Buck teases back.
Eddie gives a laugh, before taking a picture of Buck and Chris on the floor to send to group chat.
Eddie: *File attached*
Eddie: movie night and sleepover got relocated and we have to have a floor picnic because Buck STILL doesn’t have a couch.
He hits send and takes a pizza, feeling his pocket buzz a few times.
Hen: Sleepover? Where are you going to sleep? Not sure all 3 of you will fit in Buck’s bed XD
Buck: He wouldn’t be allowed anyways, he snores. Maybe i’ll share with Chris if I feel like carrying him up.
Eddie rolls his eyes and sees Buck grinning at him from across the blanket.
Eddie: For your information, I don’t snore and Buck has an air mattress that me and Chris are going to share.
Chim: We have shared bunks with you and Buck’s house during the pandemic. We know you snore.
Before he can saying anything, everyone laugh reacts to Chimney’s comment.
Eddie rolls his eyes again, giving up texting before returning to his pizza and focusing on Chris, who has set up the fighting game. He doesn’t notice Buck snap his picture.
“Buck and me first” he takes the controllers from Chris’ hand a flings it in Buck’s direction.
“You’re on Diaz”
It was a perfect night…even though he kept getting kicked in the middle of the night by a sleeping pre-teen.
