Summary
It's was a cold and rainy evening when the foreboding stranger entered the Dutchess Inn to deliver a letter asking for those who read it to help his master who had become sick. Beckoned by the supernatural mists out of the comfort of the inn, four strangers find themselves pulled into the land of Barovia, a dismal place ruled over by the vampiric dark lord Strahd von Zarovich. Bebbin the Satyr Bard, Francis the Reborn Ranger, Salvatoré the Elven Artificer, Samuel the Half-Elf cleric (later to be joined by Cartier the Half-Elf Wizard and Kosuke the Human Monk) do their best to set things right in the shambling remains of the country.
As of this fic's posting and the latest update (11/15/2023) our party is still actively playing through this campaign, which is why this fic has opted out of using Ao3's warnings. As of this point there is the typical Curse of Strahd trigger warnings, and is played by a 21+ group. Major character death and player character death will be applicable to this fic. Unhealthy relationship dynamics are present in this work. The dog does not die (literal). There will be no depictions of NSFW -- the closest this work may come is PDA or fade to black.
