Charlie Spring: ❤️

Charlie’s answer made Nick break a wide smile, the warmth in his chest spreading rapidly, and he could recognize the same soft sensation he had had earlier, during practice. With all the mess of The Ben Hope Situation and his worrying about Charlie’s well-being, Nick had forgotten about it, but now it was coming back, a quiet but profound happiness taking over him. Something he couldn’t quite comprehend but that was certainly, undeniably good and safe and right.

Nick knew it was because of Charlie. There was something about him that was different. Special.

Something that made Nick feel in a way he had never before.

Something… real.
