“Hannibal? What—”
“He has pneumonia, Jack.”
Silence greeted him from the other end of the call. Hannibal refused to be the first one to speak; irritation built beneath his skin like water rising in a flooded room.
“Are you certain?” the other man finally asked. Hannibal pinched the bridge of his nose and glanced back at Will, slumbering in his chair, shivers yet to subside. It took everything in him for his voice to come out even.
“Are you questioning my ability to diagnose my patients?”
When Will Graham stumbles into Hannibal's office, obviously ill, Hannibal makes either the best or worst decision of his life.
