01 – Uncharted
Misako and Wu had gone missing, Morro would never admit it but he was worried. They were on an island, unknown to most, and surrounded by storms. As the master of wind, Morro knew just how dangerous storms could be.
The picked up the only person to ever return form said Island. As they made their way towards the storm belt, Morro decided that he would come along.
“I’m joining you.”
“And why?”, asked Lloyd. It was like Lloyd didn’t want Morro to join them, but it was rather unusual for him to come along for missions. He normally stayed behind with the rest.
“It’s a storm, Lloyd. My thing.”
“You’re worried about uncle.”
“Pfft- no.”
When did Morro become this oblivious? He used to be an evil master mind. He used to keep up his guard at all times. Then again he didn’t need to anymore, he, for the first time, had people he could truly trust. For the first time, he had a family, not that he will ever tell them that.
Pixal, Echo and Garmadon decided to stay behind on the Bounty.
02 – The Keepers of the Amulet
Morro had another mission now, keeping Cole from eating things he really should be eating. He already tried eating poisonous berries.
“Please, don’t eat anything on this island.”
As they walked further into the jungle, Kai found a coconut, He offered it to Cole.
“Is it possible for you to think about anything expect food?”
“Yes. I’m thirsty, too.”
“You should really listen to Morro, you know.”
Zippy then snatched the coconut from Cole, he promptly followed the food thief.
Kai turned to Morro and said: “What do you see in him?”
“I’m begging to wonder that too.”
First Master, those statues were annoying. Why did they have to be magic of some kind? Why weren’t things ever easy for these guys.
Lloyd and Morro kept running from them. They had lost the others and really needed to outrun those god-forsaken things.
The only option they had was jumping down a ledge, luckily enough there was small cave they could hide in. Much to the cousins’ surprise, Twitchy was in there. At least they had found him.
03 – The Gift of Jay
Inside the cave, where they had lit a fire, Lloyd put on camouflage, while Morro partially put up his hair.
Twitchy began to ask them what they would do, which led to an argument with Lloyd. Morro just stood next to Lloyd and mumbled: “He’s a lost cause.”
Instead of agreeing with his cousin, Lloyd began giving Twitchy a pep talk. Morro was always amazed by how Lloyd could just give other people courage. He knew Twitchy would come around, after all. It’s just what Lloyd does. Is that maybe the true power of the green ninja? Giving people hope? The green energy blasts don’t seem to correlate to the prophecy after all.
As the jumped through the jungle Morro couldn’t help but think that this was fun. He always enjoyed jumping through trees, especially high ones. Maybe that was because of his element.
They stopped on a thick branch and they were ambushed by the dragon they met not so long ago, Zippy.
Turns out this guy would be a great help.
They were about throwing the coconut away again when they noticed the carts underneath them. They glanced at each other and smirked. They had the same idea. Lloyd immediately threw the coconut. Time to cause some chaos!
They found their friends. They were behind bars but Lloyd opened them with the staff from one of the guards.
While Lloyd was immediately hugged by his mother, Morro, much to his surprise, was hugged by Wu.
Sure, they both were on the same page about their relationship. Morro viewed him as his father, something he never had, and to Wu Morro was his beloved son. But both of them didn’t have an easy time showing that they cared. Morro was still getting used to the whole idea of not being alone anymore and Wu still had some of his own worries, especially regarding Morro. The old man didn’t exactly know how to treat his adult son. It was different from being there for his students. They both were still learning; this was new for both of them.
They had looked for Jay only to come back to the rest, no one knew where he was, great. And of course, Clutch was nowhere to be seen. Would he try to steal the amulet?
“Even Clutch isn’t that reckless. Is he?”, wondered Nya.
“He is.”, said Morro.
Morro really didn’t like the guy. They quickly made their way to the amulet. Who would have guessed, Clutch was trying to steal the amulet, of course. Before they could stop him, they were zapped with lightning once again.
They woke up, tied to poles on the beach. The islanders were talking about Wojira. Something was off though, why would she need offerings? Something doesn’t add up.
“Morro! You mentioned Wojira before!”, said Nya.
“I don’t know much, just that our powers are connected to her.”, answered Morro.
“Guys, relax. This whole Wojira thing, it’s a myth. It’s not real.”, said Clutch.
“So were dragons.”, said Morro.
How can this idiot say something like Wojira isn’t real, while surrounded by elemental masters. Not to mention the storm people that surrounded them. Oh, how Morro wants to end this guy. He’ll lead people to their doom if they even listen to one of his ideas.
He needs to remember to burn all the books of his they, for some reason, had in the monastery. Also, Vania’s. He’ll get her better books.
04 – The Tooth of Wojira
They got themselves out of their bounds and they headed to help Jay, they needed to get him out.
That didn’t work out like they would have hoped. Jay disappeared into the fog and they got washed back to shore.
“Did I mention? I hate the ocean!”, said Morro exhausted.
Getting to Jay was easier than they had thought. This island wasn’t all that big. There was a layer full of escaped prisoners, with Ronin as their ringleader.
Looks like Morro was right, Twitchy came around. He crashed into Ronin’s ship, stopping him from escaping.
As Ronin tried to run, Kai and Morro jumped onto the ship. Ronin ran into Kai first, he turned around and bumped into Morro, falling backwards. He looked up and was truly surprised. Wasn’t Morro dead?
“Morro?”
They two elemental masters, glared at him. He had no way out. Morro was with the ninja now. How and when did that happen.
“Okay, okay. You got me.”
“You’re gonna see the inside of a jail cell for this, Ronin.”, said Kai.
Kai and Morro smiled and high-fived.
Ronin was really confused, when did they become friends? First Master how much did he miss?
The Keepers were thanking them only to find out that the amulet was gone.
Nya had a hung: “Where is Clutch?”
Dwayne pointed towards the shore.
“Urgh…”, Morro really hated that guy.
As Clutch tries to get away he was zapped by lightning. Morro had the staff in hand, glaring that Clutch, he should really stay like this. Unconscious, and keeping his mouth shut.
