"I'm sorry Miss Potts," Steve said, entering the media room and noticing she was curled-up on the sofa, reading a book.
"That's okay," Pepper said. "I've read it a dozen times."
"It must be a favorite," Steve said.
"It's not a happy book, but it's so good," Pepper said, handing Steve her well-worn copy of The Handmaid's Tale. "You should read it, even Tony liked it."
"You're reading it," Steve said.
" I hadn't planned to read," Pepper said. "I thought we were having movie night and I was actually here for once, but Tony and Bruce have their heads together in Bruce's lab."
"Where's Clint and Natasha?" Steve asked.
"They went to see The Lion King again," Pepper said. "It was the only night they could get isle seats."
" "Natasha chose it on movie night," Steve said.
"The animated version is adorable, but you really should get broadway tickets one night," Pepper said. "
"There's a musical version on broadway?" Steve asked. "
"It's so well done," Peper said, "you should see it as well as Wicked. That's really excellent as well."
"Does Wicked have something to do with The Wizard of Oz?" Steve asked.
"It does," Pepper said. "Did you see it when you were little?"
Bucky and I weren't so little when it was released," Steve said, "but it was amazing. We both liked the book, too, the whole series really."
"What were you planning to watch when you came in here?" Pepper asked.
Clint said I should try Fargo," Steve said.
"If you'd like some company,"Pepper said, "I'd join you. Fargo is very funny. We could make it a Coen Brothers' movie night. Maybe some of the team will show-up at some point."
'I'd enjoy that," Steve said as he sat on the far end of the sofa.
