“Hey, Keys.”
Keys’s head snaps up at the British accent, his eyes wide and panicked. He looks at the man sitting casually at the end of the conference table, his legs spread, his shirt half unbuttoned, and a smirk playing around his lips. Keys swallows hard and reflexively looks back down at the information in his hand, trying to cover his confusion.
“How’ve you been?”
Clearing his throat, Keys makes himself sit down. “Fine. I’m – fine. Paul.”
