Summary
The break-up was pretty anticlimactic. There was no impassioned plea, no grand declaration of love, no fight. Lucy set forth her reasons; Chris nodded his head in understanding. Granted, there was a bit of point/counter-point discussion and pretty sure some Socratic method (he is a lawyer, after all), but, it was fine. Just... fine. Hell, Lucy's break-up with Nolan was much more dramatic and they still ended up good friends.
This is probably why Lucy did not see her tailspin coming.
