Work Text:
Dire was just trying to enjoy his snacks. Okay, so he's currently hiding in the attic while Yuu is watching tv. Why was he hiding in the attic? Because he want to eat his chocolate cookies in peace.
Apparently, Yuu would ask him to share whenever he's caught and he doesn't feel like sharing! He uses clairvoyant magic to make sure his son doesn't get into trouble.
The kid is currently watching some show called "Debra the adventurer." She has a gorilla companion named "Shoes". This is the dumbest idea ever. Who came up this shit?
"Do you know where the red road is?," Debra asked.
"There!," shouted Yuu.
Debra tilted her head. "Where!"
"There! Turn around!!!!"
Seems like the only thing this "educational" show is only teaching his son is rage.
"Dummy Debwa!!!!!!"
Lots of rage.
Dire put his snacks away and exited the attic. "Yuu, why are you screaming?"
Yuu was red faced. "Debwa no turn around!"
Debra finally turned around. "There it is!"
The child groaned. Dire changes the channel to a show his son really likes. He turned to a channel that had a show his son really likes and just in time for surprisingly catchy theme song.
"Mighty Troopers!
Lightning! Lighting rescue!
The signal is calling, our world is falling!
The battles will try you, better make a Lightning rescue!"
This show isn't bad but he does have some questions on why that one character is wearing a bikini outfit.
Whatever, at least it's not as aggravating as "Debra the adventurer."
He sat on the couch next to Yuu.
-
Dire has no idea when he fell asleep but he woke up to Yuu shaking him.
"Daddy! Daddy! Let's play mighty twoopers!"
Oh dear seven.
A while later,
"Yuu stop throwing your toys at me!," Dire said ducking as a stuffed duck was chucked at him.
"Daddy, you're need to explode!"
Dire's jaw dropped was he suppose to be one of those monsters? "Yuu, if I explode I'll be gone forever. Do you want me to be gone forever?"
Yuu seemed to think for a moment then looked down. "No."
"Good."
-
"There's a Mighty Troopers movie coming out around the same week as Yuu's birthday," Lilia said. "Silver likes the show as well."
The older fae had came by for tea.
Yuu's birthday was chosen to be on the day he found the child. Crying in that coffin three years prior.
"I'm quite worried about taking him anywhere," Dire said. "I've used play-dough to try to get him to control his strength. I don't want him accidentally hurting humans."
Lilia tilted his head. "How do you train him with play-dough?"
"I roll it into a ball and he has to not squish it."
"That's one way, I guess," Lilia said.
Dire sighed. "Plan on having him go to pre-school soon and I don't want teachers calling me because he broke another kid's bone from playing too rough."
Lilia shuddered. "Now that's a horrifying thought," he said.
"Yes, just imagining the possibility of being sued by the parents is enough to give me nightmares."
A loud crash made them get up from the table.
"Yuu, what are you doing?!," Dire called out.
"Nothing!"
Dire rolled his eyes. "Really, because I heard something."
He walked to the kitchen where he heard the noise. Dire groaned when he spotted the refrigerator door on the ground.
